Possible teething?

So my baby who’s 3 month old is dribbling a lot chewing on hand or mine or my partners finger, he’s extremely fussy in the afternoon like almost inconsolable he’ll just scream his head off and refuses boob he’ll do like a few sucks then pull of and scream I’ve tried checking his gums but I honestly don’t know what I’m feeling for and he won’t let me look at his gums I keep giving him paracetamol cause everything is pointing to teething but I feel bad bc I feel like I’m over analysing and he’s just being fussy , the baby in question below just so I don’t get lost

Could be a growth spurt
I thought it was teething too with my LO so have been telling everyone I think he is teething for the last three months 😂😂🤪 turns out he was just going through developmental changes and chewing hands and the drooling is a sign of it.
Hang in there 💪🏽 It’s so tough ! Just walk away for a minute and then come back and pick up baby if it gets too much. ❤️ sometimes we just need a reset
I found a good swaddle and slightly warm milk tends to soothe my LO
Also check for potential Colic ?

My lil man started around 4 months and I could see the bumps under his gums and now two clearly white teeth bumps are close to popping through. He will be 5 months next week. I did learn between 3 and 4 months their saliva glands are kicking in and causes teething-like symptoms such as hand and object chewing and drooling. If you can see or feel bumps then they may have actually started teething. I thought my baby was teething early until I found out about the salivary glands kicking in and that was what was happening to him until he was 4 months and his teeth bumps started showing.

Should I let him stay late at a wedding?

My husband's close friend is getting married soon. My parents are going to watch our 8 month old twins for the daytime but aren't comfortable looking after them for the evening because they haven't done it before. We were going to leave before the evening meal/events begin to get back home, but my husband's friend is now saying he wants my husband to stay. My parents will stick around to help me with the kids but don't know their routine or anything, should I say he can stay later and deal with them myself?

Childcare Gov account- help

Hi there, can I get a bit of advice with my childcare gov account. For background I have a 6 year old and a 6 month old who is yet to start nursery. When I log on and click the ‘free childcare for parents’ menu both kids are listed with their own codes. We have yet to give my LOs code to the nursery.
However when I click the ‘your tax-free childcare account’ only my eldest is listed. Is this normal at this stage or have I missed a step? Thanks!

Is my toddler naughty or just a toddler?😅

So I have two childless friends who’ve made a few comments about my son. He’s just over two, and is deep in the terrible twos. He’s lovely & so funny, but yes there’s a lot of tempers. He doesn’t always listen to me, or eat all his meals, he loves his snacks & stands on the sofa.

I feel these things are part of being a toddler, he’s not hitting, biting or being mean to other children - but is he perfect no! We do have tempers, mainly if he’s over tired. Am I doing something wrong?? I don’t think I’m soft, but I don’t think I’m super strict either - yet my friends have implied they would be stricter with their kids. It’s got in my head massively.

Any tips welcome, just trying to be the best mum I can🫶🏻

Would you use this car seat protector under your car seat?

Okay my husband and I keep butting heads over my car. He wants it much cleaner than I have the time or energy to keep up with -> he won’t clean it though.

I’m tired of butting head over this and I’m considering using this thing.

I’ve seen ones that are split but I don’t really see how that system would help me keep the seat clean unlike this single one.

I just spent two hours scrubbing my seats yesterday. I deep clean once a month and take it to the car wash every Monday on top of that I pick up trash daily and put any free items in the bins system I’m using. (One under each of my kids for their toys and one in the trunk for random things so they are flying around .

I’ve come a long way with car maintenance but all he ever sees is what I’m doing wrong and I’m over it.

Do you do any nursery pick ups in PJs?

I sometimes do when I’m in too much pain to change. Wondering if people ever judge me for it.

Feedback from nursery was that child was not good today and hit another child

She was so negative about her. Made me wonder if she didn’t want her there.

Where do I go from here? Should I ask for the other parents number to apologise?
