So my baby who’s 3 month old is dribbling a lot chewing on hand or mine or my partners finger, he’s extremely fussy in the afternoon like almost inconsolable he’ll just scream his head off and refuses boob he’ll do like a few sucks then pull of and scream I’ve tried checking his gums but I honestly don’t know what I’m feeling for and he won’t let me look at his gums I keep giving him paracetamol cause everything is pointing to teething but I feel bad bc I feel like I’m over analysing and he’s just being fussy , the baby in question below just so I don’t get lost

Could be a growth spurt
I thought it was teething too with my LO so have been telling everyone I think he is teething for the last three months 😂😂🤪 turns out he was just going through developmental changes and chewing hands and the drooling is a sign of it.
Hang in there 💪🏽 It’s so tough ! Just walk away for a minute and then come back and pick up baby if it gets too much. ❤️ sometimes we just need a reset
I found a good swaddle and slightly warm milk tends to soothe my LO
Also check for potential Colic ?

My lil man started around 4 months and I could see the bumps under his gums and now two clearly white teeth bumps are close to popping through. He will be 5 months next week. I did learn between 3 and 4 months their saliva glands are kicking in and causes teething-like symptoms such as hand and object chewing and drooling. If you can see or feel bumps then they may have actually started teething. I thought my baby was teething early until I found out about the salivary glands kicking in and that was what was happening to him until he was 4 months and his teeth bumps started showing.
