Feeling low

I’m 2 weeks post c section with my second child. I have 2.5 year old and had vaginal birth first time with forceps but had lots of complications and recovery was very long. Chose a c section this time and feeling low as every is like I was driving and walking loads at 2 weeks. I’m still in pain and not really left the house and just feel so fed up of doing nothing and feel like why am I not recovering

I had a similar birth with my second - forceps and complications and this time an elective section. I was also driving at 2 weeks and felt pain free. I’m 4 weeks post section & I feel the same, just scared of pulling my incision, I’m still not driving or doing housework-it feels like my life is on hold x

I had a vaginal delivery with my first and an emergency c section with my second. I found the emotional come down absolutely awful after the c section! The first 3/4 weeks were really difficult, pain combined with feeling really low just had me in tears all the time. Week 4-8 became a little better but my anxiety went sky high instead!
It’s really difficult because the recovery process is so long and we’re very limited to what we can do. I didn’t leave my house for three week and even then i was just in pain and uncomfortable.
Im 13 weeks pp now and im happy to say all of the above has really improved!
Definitely speak to your health visitor as they can provide you with the right resources to reach out to if you need it!
