Hey fellow weaners, I know at 6mo they're generally supposed to eat 2 spoonfulls of food, but today I started weaning and after 2 spoons I stopped and my LO kicked OFF, I couldnt find any other reason except maybe he wasn't finished and wanted more 🤷🏻♀️, I was v suprised that he completely ate the 2 spoon fulls of banana, not a bother. Even though I thought this phase was more about mess! Anyways any advice on if I should continue feeding until he refuses more? Or is that overfeeding? I dont want to make him sick - thanks

Personally, I’d try feeding until they were ‘done’ - if they’re not sick or uncomfortable or refusing milk afterwards then I’d stick with it

I agree with Natalie, my LO was obviously more than ready-he couldn’t get it in his mouth quick enough and would squeal for more!
Started slowing down when full or stop opening mouth.

Its why I prefer BLW to spoon feeding as baby controls quantity! Honestly keep offering until baby doesnt seem like they want more, they all have different appetites and this also vsries day to day!xx
