Oh gosh, this sounds really difficult! 🫂 did anything happen prior to the not eating? My LB stopped eating food temporarily following having a bad cold. Things I did included holding him in my arms and feeding him by hand/ spoon instead of the high chair for a bit, always ate a bit of whatever it is in front of him and then offer him a spoon, and give him a plastic spoon to play with as I fed him. He got his appetite back after a couple of weeks.

Food refusal is very normal for toddlers , mine spent months basically only having a mouthful or two at meal time but loads of milk it was really stressful, then he just snapped out of it and now he eats loads

There are things that we did to encourage him to eat like let him eat from our plates, put food in his mouth while he’s distracted, try different foods as one day he would like something and the next day he would hate it. We didn’t let him have milk before food so that avoided him filling up on milk.

We also found that he ate really well at nursery because he was copying other other children, but he wouldn’t eat at home, so we put him in nursery more so that he would eat

Oh my goodness, change your GP!
Also, have you thought about asking ChatGPT, and then going back to the GP armed with questions based on what that says?

Nursery 🎪🐭🩵✨

I loveeee seeing other peoples nurseries!! 🥰

Mine isn’t finished yet, still got things to put on the walls, name signs, pictures etc.

Is anyone else almost done with theirs?

Going from 2-3, Help! 😩

My 2 step-daughters live with us full time, and have done for nearly 5 years. We now have our 4week old baby boy and I'm really struggling with how a routine will ever come into place.

I had a C-section so have not been doing many of the school runs as I'm unable to drive. My mum has been living with us during the week to help as my partner had to go back to work 4 days after bringing baby home.

We are getting closer to the time my mum won't be here to help and I'll be doing all of the school runs (and all other things that come with being a mum and running a house) and I do not know how I'm going to get out the door at 8am - let alone keep everyone organised and settled.

Parenting isn't new to me but being a mummy to a new born baby is so I feel a little lost.

Any advice welcome!

Unreasonable to be annoyed at this??

So me and my boyfriend have been together 6 months and is it a bit shitty that we have only been for dinner once? And not really been anywhere on a day out. Alls he does is work, a lot. Which I like in a man but he works 60 hours a week and always says he has no money. But I just would love to get dressed up a night and I love going for dinner/going on adventures etc but he just works and sleeps 🙈 I don’t even ever think we’ve went for lunch. I have a 6 year old daughter and only get 2 nights a week free so would be nice to actually go somewhere or do somethin. It’s always me askin go do stuff and he’s just like “yeah come round to mine” and we just sit and watch tv 🙈

Day festival with 6 month old

Me and my partner are taking my 6 month old to a local day festival... Initially planned to come home early evening but now wondering whether to stick out till after the main headline act so my partner can see. Is this a stupid idea with a young baby? My frienfs are camping near to main area and so can take baby back there for naps plus most of the day will be spent in kids field. Thoughts / advice welcome. I would then drive home late evening.

Nursery help/advice

I am a first time mum and want the best for my little girl, she is incredibly smart and she’s almost 2, she knows colours counts to ten sings songs, she’s very clever, I applied for nursery 9-3 but they don’t have that available they have 1-6:30 but her bath and bed routine starts at 5:30 she’s in bed by 6:45, I originally was going to look at a part time job in the 9-3 hours but that wouldn’t work as she would be picked up at 4:30 to get home and settled for bed! I am looking for advice is it worth her going at 2, did anyone have a child that went at 3 and 2 and what was the difference? I am a stuck mummy because of course i want her home but i also want the best but before this new funding came in, children went at 3 unless you paid for it? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED 🫣
