Sleep

Anyone else’s baby not sleep at night unless they’re on you? I don’t like the idea of co sleeping however my little girl wakes as soon as she’s put down and only sleeps the night laying on me😭

Idk if this will help you but I tried it with my second, not so much my first. But if baby falls asleep on you and you want to put her down, when you do, do it really slowly. Literally snails pace. Have it in your head that she might wake up, that saves the disappointment you feel when they stir and you think “ffs just go to sleep”… do it really slowly, and lay your hand with gentle pressure on her tummy/chest. Keep it there for a little, and slowly ease off x

Are you using a swaddle?

In the 4 month trenches…

Hit 4 months yesterday and since then my LO has been fighting naps, needing the dummy constantly replaced in her mouth and is grumpy as hell.

I think this is the dreaded 4 month regression or maybe teething.

Send help 😫

🗓️ Any advice would be great 🫶🏼

Hey mamas 😊

I’m a first time mama to a beautiful baby girl (3months tomoro) and was hoping to get some insight.
My baby girl sleeps amazing but only on me, my chest and I’ve tried laying her down on her back but she wakes instantly every time. So at night it’s very challenging, even throughout the day all her naps are on me as she wakes if I put her down. My baby girl doesn’t like a swaddle, she escapes and her arms just fight it lol

Not walking

Does/did anyone else’s 17 month old not walk yet? He’s recently seen his health visitor due to us moving area, she didn’t seem too concerned about it but I’m quite worried and always compare to other toddlers his age🙈 he was 3 weeks early which isn’t a lot but he was a late crawler too and seems to do things in his own time. I’ve bought him a soft play which he now sometimes will go on his feet to lift himself up onto it, if we’re sat on the floor he will bend his legs to push himself up over us so there is a small improvement.. he has stood at the sofa twice with us helping him up and only for a short time. He just doesn’t seem bothered but he’s a good fast crawler

(The socks on the photo was because we was going out! I try and have him bare foot as much as possible)

Naps - send help!

Curious as to what your guys nap situation looks like? my LO is 8 weeks and is such a bad napper. He will pretty much only contact nap & apart from the odd one where he knocks out after a bottle, mostly all of his naps are such effort and can take well over an hour to get there & even then its a fairly light sleep whilst hes laying on me. i try everything, white noise, swaddle, low lights, rocking but sometimes he just doesnt seem interested but is obviously getting overtired.

am i doing something wrong? Im getting so fed up of my day being entirely made up trying to get him to nap or sitting completely still with him whilst he cat naps, if i move an inch hes awake, wont take to a sling/carrier either
