how long does your LO sleep for?

i hope it's normal or i just hit the baby jackpot but my 2m old can sleep (nap) for 3+ hours.. I don't want to wake her but i feel bad because i'd think she'd be hungry by now? ofc i fed her when she wakes up but im just curious if sleeping 3+ hours is okay?? I will feed her and try to keep
her awake but then she'll go right back to sleep lol i shouldn't be complaining but that girl can sleeppppp.

Both my kids slept through the night by 2months the doctor said unless they are underweight/dropping weight it’s just fine.

Believe me, she’ll wake you when she’s hungry! I was sooo paranoid with my first, to the point I set an alarm for every 3 hours on the dot. We did this for months. However, with my second I learned to trust her. It can feel really odd, and it did for me, when she’d sleep past her usual nap time, but she soon woke up for a feed. As long as baby is having 6+ wet nappies within a 24 hour period, you’re all good. Are you breastfeeding or formula feeding?

At 2 months, if she is gaining weight, then she can sleep through the night. Mine slept 9-11 hrs and then went through sleep regression as she reached the next month. For naps, my didn’t sleep more than 30-15 mins with her dad taking care of her and with me 1-1.5 hrs. At 3 months babies can tell you they’re hungry. At 2 months, you still want to talk to your paediatrician if you think you should wake her.

My second was a crazy napper too when she was a baby. As long as her weight isn't a concern, I'd say you're good to let her sleep!

I remember by daughter having a 4 hr nap once. My son has never slept more than 2.5 hrs though

Wedding and breastfeeding?

I'm getting married tomorrow. I'm 3 months pp. I breastfeed my baby. I won't be able to do so tomorrow. I'll be taking pre pumped milk for him, but worried about myself. If I don't pump or feed for 8-10 hours, I'll get engorged. Is there any workaround?

Hot days

Hi there, just wanted to ask if is safe to sleep with the window open when is so hot outside? I have a 8 week old baby and i m thinking that might be dangerous for her but in the same time is extremely hot in the room. Thank you ☺️

Temp for bed time

Currently stressing as it’s 25 degrees in baby boys bedroom what’s the best thing to sleep him in? Also if anyone can recommend anything I can use to cool the room down it would be appreciated willing to buy anything.

As a mom how late do you sleep in everyday? I am up by 6am every day but my sister and her toddler and older child don’t get up until 11am every day

I find her schedule to be a bit jarring and lacking structure but she thinks it’s fine. I’ve never met another mom with a young child sleep that late every single day but maybe I’m wrong for worrying which I’m open to hearing. I think I’d be less worried if she was more active but she is not. I’m not judging to be mean. I love her and am worried. I think it may be hormonal but I don’t want to hurt her feelings when I bring this up. Thank you

2nd pregnancy guilt.

So I have just found out I’m pregnant again. My boy will be 2 years and 8 months when new baby is due.

I was really excited to tell my very close family in a few days however, this evening one of them has made a few comments that have left me feeling so guilty and bad.
Basically they have a newborn and were saying how hard it must be to have a newborn and a toddler close in age, how the toddler would need to ‘grow up really quickly’ wouldn’t get any time with the parents at all because of the newborn and how they just don’t know how people could do it.

This has made me feel so guilty and bad! I was looking forward to sharing the news in a few days now I don’t even want to.
Am I overthinking and speaking from hormones?
Anyone else been through similar? Please comment. Thank you so much

Baby tracker app

What app are you guys using to track diapers and feedings? We were using huckleberry, but it’s starting to not keep the information correct or not saving it.
