Change hospital?

I still haven't had my booking appointment. I'm 10 weeks on Monday. I've had to chase them so much. Finally got an appointment for next Tuesday (which will make me 10 weeks 1 day) and that's now been cancelled due to the midwife being off sick, so I've now got one for 3rd June which will make me 11 weeks 2 days. I dread to think when I'll get my scan date 🤦🏻‍♀️. Seriously thinking of changing hospitals. Has any ones else been in a similar position and changed hospitals?

Booking appointments are done by midwives at the drs not hospital. I had my booking appointment at 10 week and she requested my scan, I rang the next day and it’s confirmed for 12w 1day. Hospital and drs are different teams of midwives

I go to the hospital for my booking appointment. Not sure if it's different in different areas 🤔 either way surely it's all linked to which ever hospital you're under.

Anyone not put the dad on the birth certificate?

Wondering the pros/cons here? I think I would like to not put the dad’s name on the certificate.

Did you get a colostrum kit from your midwife? (NHS)

I had my 36 week appointment but they didn’t discuss colostrum or the birth plan, is that normal? When do they do the birth plan with you?

Anyone still undecided on names?

I am almost 30 weeks and we still are nowhere near choosing a name! We aren’t finding out the sex so it makes it even harder as we need to consider 2 names at this stage. I have always loved Joshua for a boy and Minnie for a girl but hubby totally disagrees 🙈🙈

Fluid “leaking out” vs discharge

I’m currently 30 weeks and a few days pregnant, and I’m genuinely concerned that the increase of my discharge is NOT discharge. It’s super watery and if I move a certain way it’ll immediately come out and it’ll feel like I’m slowly peeing myself. I’ve heard stories of women not knowing that their water has broke because they thought it was just normal bodily fluid, but that they were told by doctors that it was actually their water slowly trickling out over a few days time. How the hell do you figure out the difference? I know it’s super early in my case, but you never know! Can you tell I’m a first time mom, lol

Nausea and eating 🤪

I’m 7.5 weeks and feeling pretty sick (but haven’t been sick). I find that I really don’t want to eat but when I do I feel better. It’s so confusing! Is anyone else experiencing this?
