I’m not crazy right?

Love my clingy 15 mo. He’s great and I play with him so much, don’t get that confused! But I’m lucky to be a stay at home mom right now and I have to do laundry and cook dinner and such or maybe I just want to sit down without him climbing on me or going “mamaaaaaa” even though he’s perfectly fine. I’ve tried baby wearing but he’s getting kinda heavy and he doesn’t like being in there for too long….so sometimes I sit around the corner of the room he’s in. I put him in his pack and play, distract him with a toy, then hide behind the wall so he can’t see me and do whatever I need to do. As long as he doesn’t see me, he plays by himself so well!!! But the minute I’m in sight it’s all over and he starts crying. Does anyone else do something like this? Sometimes I feel bad that I’m hiding from my baby 😅

Samr here, girl! 15.5 months.
I just became SAHM a few weeks ago. Its ALOT. I am not complaining either... but... I cant even go to the bathroom by myself!!! And when my hubby is "watching" him, he's always bringing him by me. I'm like, can I just do one thing by myself? Poop? Shower? Anything?!! Plus I do all nighttime routine and we co sleep. So.... I literally get no breaks. I love him more than life itself.... but I would like 10 minutes a day to be me. Lol.

I have a 15 month old that does this! Every time I try to cook, go to the bathroom, or do any sort of chore, it’s nearly impossible 😭 He cries or pulls my hand. I’m looking for advice too because I have no idea what to do, but it’s nice to know I’m not alone 😅

I have a 16 month old. She will play. I put on nursery rhymes for her to sing to. She likes that and it allows me to have a moment.

Another vent…

Back again I posted yesterday my husband yelled at me and said I never do anything for the house…
Well guess who was up at 6 with my baby then my toddler woke up at 7 my teen woke up at 8 gave them breakfast put a load of dishes in cleaned up after breakfast played with the kids put my baby to nap showered changed diapers gave a snack cleaned up took them outside walked around went to the park came back at 1130 and started lunch and HE WAS STILL ASLEEP!

I got him up and he left and didn’t say anything so here I am feeding the kids cleaning up and now putting both littles to nap…

I’m so beyond annoyed and frustrated BUT I DO NOTHING?!

Am I the only one?

My husbands family always has get togethers well it’s always at the same place (his cousins) during summer we always swim and such. But now that my kid is much more mobile (she also has a kid who’s 4) I noticed she has 0 protective anything with her pool. The only thing is a “back door open” voice and that’s it. The back door leads straight to the backyard with the big ass pool.

Now she’s a nurse so I just felt this was common sense that drowning is very much silent. Today we were over there and they acted like I was CRAZY for not allowing her to be out there without an adult I know is watching her (yes there was a group of adults outside but you can’t just assume someone is watching kids?) “she’ll be fine” and I just literally started saying “drowning is silent” “there’s nothing around that pool to stop her” “drowning happens fast” and such. I felt like a crazy mom the whole time. How does she live with that pool there daily with no care in the world? Like her kid is just out “by himself” no one actively watching him a whole trampoline right by the pool.

When my MIL was out there I STILL checked on her and my husband did too we both were saying “drowning IS SILENT”

Would you be offended if your husband said "I feel like we're being bad parents"

Referring to us struggling to cope with two children when we're out of the house and not wanting to go out because if the kids get upset we both find it really stressful. (We have a newborn and a 3yo)

Idk, like I just feel like he inadvertently called me a bad parent.. and to be clear we are very calm parents, we never yell, we always try to gentle parent, but we do both get very overwhelmed in our own ways

Do your kids answer tv show prompts?

Neither of my kids have ever responded to Miss Rachel’s “can you say mama?” Or Mickey’s “let’s count these coins” it makes kid shows less entertaining for me lol

Feeling guilty

Here to write down my thoughts really.. maybe an in the moment thought I dunno. I dont think i love my newborn as much as my 1st. I was always terrified of this. I dont feel like weve had much bonding time ive just fed her, put her down then focused on my toddler. Im not enjoying skin to skin this time. I feel like my newborn definitely prefers her dadda. Theyve had so much time to bond. I feel in mourning of my life as a trio. I feel so guilty writing this and it makes me heartbroken I even feel this way. I don't feel like I can say this to my partner either. He just wont understand and say "ofc you do". 😭😭😭😭😭

Im so aggravated, I could explode.

Im sick of this revolving door between me and my household. I have an 18 year old an 11 year old & an 6 year and a man. So why in the hell is my house always a mess and everybody in here is capable of cleaning up behind themselves. From the time I get up. Im washing dishing, sweeping the floor, washing clothes, folding and putting away clothes, while the ungrateful ppl sit on their butts and do nothing. Im perfectly capable of doing all the cleaning and stuff for the house on my own. If they would clean up when they make messes. I speak to this man about this and all he says is, oh its not that bad, we will get to. If i sit and wait on him and kids my house will never get clean. All im want to a decent house. Its no reason why its clothes toys and food every where. They make me feel crazy because I start screaming and yelling but ive been asking nicely all day. I need a break 😫
