Would also like to know! I know you get given meds to take, they do a urine test and MRSA swab sometimes w blood test.

Mine was scatty, wasn’t even with a midwife. I had an emergency one last time so I found it all overwhelming.

She told me where to go on the day, what time to get there and the ward number etc. Parking pass for 3 days from the section date. Omeprazole to take before the op. x2 drinks to take before the op. Body wash to use the night before and in the morning that’s antibacterial to help prevent MRSA. I had x2 swabs for MRSA and a blood test. But it was quite overwhelming to take it all in, luckily they give you a sheet with all the info on x

It’s quite quick. You get mrsa swabs and a blood test and a conversation about when to come in etc which you might have already had with someone else. They also redid my height and weight for drug calculations. They give you some medicine to take the night before and in the morning and that’s basically it. It’s a good time to ask anything you’re unsure about, but it’s quite short.

What's your first thought after hearing this name?

I have been trying to come up with a name for my next daughter that matches the theme of my name and my mothers name. After so much thought, I came up with Kalisia (pronounced kuh-lee-see-uh). I love the nickname Kali for her. I'm worried that every time someone hears her name, they'll think of the games of throne character Khaleesi. I've fallen in love with the name I've come up with, but there's just that fear in the back of my mind. What do you think?

The last couple of days my pain has gone from a 2 to a 8 where I've got tears in my eyes.
Feels like the baby is either pushing in the pelvic bone or digging into to ribs.
Ive taken paracetamols and tried heat on my hooch.
Can't rest because I have a 3 year old.
Im debating phoning triage and my community midwife isn't very good.

Bump size

For context - I'm Size 8, 5"1
Late afternoon/eveing my bump gets a lot bigger.

I went out for food last night and the waitress asked how far along I was, when I told her just gone 4 months (17 wks, 2 day) she said wow are you having twins I was so shocked and felt huge! I said no, we've have 3 scans and definitely only 1 baby. She proceeded to say we should get a second opinion as I look about 6 months.

It's been on my mind all night!

I have a really healthy diet, loads of fruit and veg. (Cravings of cucumber and bell peppers)

Am I just taking this too personal? Has anyone else experienced comments like this? Xxx
