Baby sleeping a lot in the heat

Hey, is anyone else’s baby super sleepy today??

my little girl seems totally normal in herself but she is sleeping a lot today basically back to back naps with really short wake windows, I’m making sure she isn’t going more than 1.5- 2hrs without some bottle or breast though because I don’t want her to get dehydrated

she is still giving plenty of wet nappy’s and smiling and alert while she’s awake but is anyone else’s baby just exhausted in this heat?

My house is VERY hot we have all the blinds down and fans on full but can’t seem to get it below 26 degrees. She’s just in a nappy and doesn’t feel uncomfortably hot when in her bassinets but does get sweaty when we’re holding her

I have the owlet sock on her too I just worry about this heat

Yes! My baby is normally super awake like the child doesn’t sleep and all he’s done today is wake feed then go straight back to sleep. It’s 28 degrees indoors even with the fans so I think the heat has just wiped him out x

My little one is the same, been very sleepy today and wakes for a feed then goes straight back to sleep☺️ it’s normal in the heat but just have to make sure they keep feeding, which you are 🥰

Yes my little girl is coming up to 5 week old and is have noticed she's been very sleepy today. Same as your little one. Back to back naps. Along as they are feeding well, plenty of wet nappies. Definitely hard when they will only sleep on you during the day. They get so warm x

My 6 week old hardly slept last night - was hell… today so much sleep. I’m worried for tonight.

Her body was warm last night but her arms and hands were cold - couldn’t work out what to dress her in!!!

She’s so sweaty when being held but she just wants to be. It’s tough

Hopefully one more day then it cools xx

Baby and breastfeeding

I have a 3 week old and I am exclusively breastfeeding, I’ve found in the past week or so, he latches on very well to one breast and drinks with no problem but the other breast, he will latch bit detach himself after a bit and I’m having to latch him on several times. When he does detach milk usually sprays everywhere which makes me think it’s the flow that’s quite strong, but has anyone else had this problem before and can offer some advice? Thank you!

Is so selfish to continue to have kids when you’re barely scraping by financially and mentally

My friend, just announced her pregnancy and she just had her third baby 8 months ago?! And she already has a one and two year old. She constantly vents about how things are so tight financially but “makes things work”. These kids end up suffering 😢I’m usually such a supportive friend, but this…. I can’t support. It’s low key making me not want to be friends with her. Coming from someone who is two and done, I recognized my limit and drew a line and overall I’m just tired of hearing her rant about how things are so tight financially and always venting about her marital problems and then continues to add to her stress. Reality has to set in some time!? Should I cut her off?

Heat and sleep

How are we settling our babies in this weather? My little one is 2 weeks and he will not sleep unless on me but that is making him hotter. As soon as he goes in the moses basket he's screaming and crying again 😭

Help me pleaseeeeee (Read first)

I’m in a little bit of a conundrum. I’ve been looking for a pram for my 6 month old,/ that’s compact with reversible seats as my little girl likes the best of both worlds. I’ve been drawn towards a silver cross breez and bugaboo butterfly. I initially was up to spending any amount, but now I’m really thinking about it and I don’t know if it’s worth it. I’ve also come across the Joie signature range and note that it’s about a kg or two heavier than the others but cheaper. I’m so confused! Help please with my indecisiveness please 🫠
