Tell him that you will take something away

Like… the spoil kind ..? Because I think all kids get like that at that age. Def take something away until his behavior changes. Small steps btw..

Uuu girl must be the age because I’m going through it with my daughter. Constantly repeating myself, she’s getting in trouble at school etc. I’ve taken away games and permanent blocked YouTube. By the looks of it she will be grounded until she’s 25 lol

BTA he probably doesn’t take you serious especially if you only threat and never go through with it. My daughter is 6 I threaten her with BTA but she says you won’t but honestly I have a good kid and very respectful it’s maybe once a month when I have to threaten if it’s once a month because she is scared of a belt but she also knows when I say end of discussion convo done period

Follow through on your consequences

Has to be the age 😭 mine has always been so good but she is a whole different child now that she is 7.
Mine loses tv ( even tho she only gets it on the weekends lol) I have to take her toys aways, I’m at the point I’m negotiating with her to get her to be a better listener 😭

Has to be the age I’m dealing with the same thing. He just turned 7,
2 weeks ago. Been a nightmare since he only gets TVs during the weekend when we’re home and has no video games at all.

I think it’s the age (my son was born 2/19/19)! We are dealing with similar things. I have to constantly repeat myself and he constantly has an excuse when we mention to him about not listening. We have been trying to nip it in the butt but it’s been exhausting to say the least.

I’m going through the same thing with my almost 7 year old I swear..
you have to follow through after the first time saying something
Taking things away hasn’t worked for us.
I’m about to go all crunchy mom on him. No more tv. A few toys only, outside play and healthy foods/snacks
No dyes and all the vitamins that help him
I’m at a loss so if something works for any of yall lemme know
