How does labour start I feel completely confused and scared

With my first I was induced and ended in emergency C-section so I’m new to all of this. I have got an elective booked for 3 weeks away but I’m worried about having signs of labour before.

I’ve tried to look on the NHS website but after hearing people’s personal stories it’s all different on an individual basis. This is worrying me even more.

Can anyone share any labour stories please? Or first signs etc 😩

I feel the same I’m so worried I’ll not know what to look out for 🤣 I had an elective csection with my first so have never experienced labour and I feel so lost 😭

For me it was moderate lower back pains that radiated around to below my belly button and above my pubic bone every 20 minutes or so. It felt a bit like something was squeezing me. It got progressively stronger and closer together over the course of a few hours.

I’m worried about going into labour before my elective next week too, but we are in good hands if we do. Call triage if you have any early signs, they can guide you X

Baby no2!

Would anyone mind sharing positive or negative experiences with VBAC's ? I've just had a consultant appointment and really don't know what to do!

Just tried to explain to my husband and mother why mango and smoked paprika is amazing but they’ve both said that’s weird!

What is happening to me 33weeks pregnant

For the past 3 weeks my poo has been quite soft and much more smelly than normal, I have constantly been suffering with eggy burps and severe tummy ache almost like trapped gas. Any advice on what to do thank you .

Present for older sibling from the baby 👶🏼

I’m due 2 weeks tomorrow, and just wondered if anyone who’s having baby no.2 is getting a gift for their eldest child from the baby? And if so what are you getting? I feel like it would be a lovely thing to do, and my daughter would love it, I just don’t really know what to look for 🤣 so ideas are welcome ☺️

Did you have less midwife appointments with your 2nd pregnancy?

The last midwife appointment I had was back in March (I think) and then I was told by the midwife that I wouldn't be seen until I am 28 weeks, I believe I was 14 or 15 weeks at the time. I do have an appointment for June 22, however I just have some concerns. I told the midwife in March that I want a VBAC and she told me I need to have a consultation at the hospital when I am 28 weeks, she also said I need my RSV jab and whooping cough by 28 weeks. On top of that I need an appointment for my glucose test because diabetes runs in my family. I haven't received word on any of that, I also don't have an assigned midwife as mine left to go work in the hospitals. Already I have had to reach out to the midwife number because the midwife I saw had my due date wrong and that took me 5-6 days to get an answer back to get it fixed. Just worried about having to do everything all at once and it being too much and overwhelming... As no one would want to have to do the RSV jab, whooping cough and glucose test all within the same week or two. Just wondering if this is normal?
