I’ve done so much research around safe sleeping in newborns but just don’t know what to do? Whats everyone’s preferences with sleeping? Cellular blankets? Swaddles? Sleep sacks?
I think I’m really over thinking it and worrying about the weather

We’ve always used cellular blankets for the first few weeks then moved onto sleep sacks (although in current weather he’s wearing just a nappy).
I personally have never swaddled my babies it suppresses their startle reflex which I’m not comfortable with and once they start to roll you have to transition them out of it which can cause sleep issues as they transition so I prefer not to start and save myself the hassle x

We did cellular blankets at the very start, then swaddled, then moved to a togged sleepsuit - right now he’s just sleeping in a vest but we have tested most of the options haha x

Cellular blankets first 2 weeks then sleep sacks. Never swaddled.
If you haven't already look at the Lullaby Trust lots of great resources on safe sleep xxx

The love to dream swaddles!!!! Absolute godsend, thank me later x
When they begin to roll then you can just transition them to a sleeping bag, when we changed over we had two nights where they were a bit unsettled and then they were totally fine. My twins were in those swaddles since the day they came back from hospital, they’ve slept through the night for 13 hours a night since they were 7 weeks old xx
