Hey all,
My six month old daughter can roll from back to front, but she cannot yet roll front to back. She is currently rolling in her cot and not able to roll back onto her back.
She is in her own room now, and I’m getting worried that I won’t hear her in the middle of the night if she’s on her front.
I was wondering if there is anything out there that can help prevent her rolling in the cot.
I also need recommendations for cot bumpers due to her getting her legs stuck through the panels on the cot when rolling (picture of cot below).
Thank you x

If she’s able to roll to her front the general guidance is that it’s safe for her to stay that way. If she calls out in the night I’m sure you’d hear her on the monitor.
With regards to cot bumpers, they are an entrapment and entanglement risk whether they are bumpers or the mesh liners babies have died through the use of them causing them to be not recommended. Best thing you can do is either let her get used to the space she’s in or maybe consider baby proofing the room and getting a floor bed so no slats x
