Mental health illnesses can be completely debilitating, as well as and just as much as a physical illness at times. So I’d say it should be considered a disability that requires accommodations, legal protections and understanding from others 100% x

Ur brain is a body part, it’s an organ…. so to me; mental illness is also a physical illness. Mental illness is definitely just like any other disability

I’m sure someone will come at me for saying this, but I think it depends on the nature of the illness.
I have a history of anxiety, for example, but I’m high functioning and have no need for accommodations.

It depends on the person and the severity of the condition or diagnosis.
Not a doctor but a person may cope differently and not need accommodation or want.

I think depends on what the mental illness is .. same with physical illnesses to be fair , some are moderate whereas some are a lot more complex

It is considered a disability and something that requires accommodations
