Toddler Trainers

Mama’s with boys with chubby feet, what trainers are we putting our boys in? I’ve tried alot of Nike trainers and they seem to be really narrow and uncomfortable for my boy. Any suggestions?

Hey Maisie honestly I know they’re not the best looking of shoes but try the barefoot range they have trainers and they are so good for their little feet! We struggle with the Nike ones unless it’s the swoosh 1 (so comfy but good for under 2 year olds). X

Sketchers are good, or Adidas are wider fit - Nike has always been narrow x

Solo parenting

Solo parenting this weekend. Feel so incredibly lonely no one to see. Also struggling with insomnia etc so I am a zombie. Anyone else relate?

Texting buddies

Hi everyone! 👋 I’m a SAHM looking to make some texting buddies and hopefully some genuine mom friends. I have two little ones, spend most of my days chasing kids, and would love some adults to chat with throughout the day. 😅 I’m into family life, animals, and all the ups and downs of motherhood. If you’re looking for someone to talk to about parenting, everyday life, or just random things to help break up the day, feel free to reach out! I’d love to connect with other moms who understand the joys and challenges of this season of life. 💕

Feeling lonely

I’m stuck in this place where I want to go out and I do wanna make friends but my symptoms have been so horrible this whole first trimester that it’s damn near impossible to have the energy to get up and get out I have to force myself to get things done and now my work is picking up again finally and that’s taking whatever little bit of energy I have . Not to mention the extreme aversions I’m still not able to eat really and all I want to do is just eat a full meal without having to vomit.

Loneliness

For me, the hardest part about being a single mom is dealing with the loneliness. I left my abusive ex in January. sometimes I feel so lonely I get strong urges to reach out to him but I know I shouldn’t. How do I get through the loneliness? 😭😭

Need a village

I need a village or even one friend. I need more joy in my life. I love my family but having a friend is so different.

Financial struggle

Hey ladies 💕

I’m a stay-at-home mum and lately I’ve been feeling the pressure of the cost of living. My partner has been working so hard to support our family, and I hate seeing how exhausted he is.

To try and help out financially, I’ve recently started making candles from home. It’s completely outside my comfort zone, but I’m hoping it gives me a way to contribute while still being home with my little one.

I’d love to hear from other mums who have started a small business, side hustle, or found ways to earn an income while raising their kids. How did you get started, and what helped you keep going when things felt overwhelming?

Always looking to connect with other mums who get it 💛
