I can’t stop crying

Can anyone relate to this? My girl is 3 months, will be 4 months of the 16 of this month and she absolutely doesn’t sleep. She doesn’t take naps during the day because I’ve been trying to train her to sleep without me. She’ll have about 2 contact naps with me not lasting longer than 2 hours, if even that. She doesnt go to sleep at night till about 12 in the morning and then is up again around 3 or sometimes 5. But then once she’s up again it’s so hard to get her to sleep again she literally refuses and fight the sleep. Idk what to do at this point. I’ve tried the schedule, I’ve tried baths, I’ve tried letting her fall asleep on me…but the minute I set her down she’s up and talking and thinks it’s a damn party. I can’t stop crying because I don’t get any sleep at this point.
When she was a newborn she was up ever 2 hours on the dot. And now this…

Sometimes your gonna have let her cry herself to sleep it will be hard but it will help them in the end my baby is almost 1 and wants to sleep with us but we just put her In her room and she tires herself out

Sounds like sleep regression to me. Will eventually go away. And to the „cry it out“-comnebts: I couldn‘t let mine „cry it out“ cause it breaks my heart and is not goid fir the babies since they get in a constant state of fear since they don‘t know where you are. So mine just sleeps on me, every single time. Is not too confortable at all for me but at least he sleeps. He‘d be the same as yours if I didn‘t let him sleep on me…

I had to let mine cry it out bc that’s the only thing that worked bc mine got colic a lot when she was younger yes it may be heart breaking but in the end it does work and it’s what the doctor suggested

Baby went underwater

Tonight I asked my husband if he would rather change the sheets on the bed, or give our 8 week old baby a bath. He chose the bath (which I normally do). I was a little nervous as he had never bathed him alone before (just watched me do it), but trusted they’d be fine. 4 minutes into the bath I hear my baby screaming upstairs. I was immediately worried since he loves his baths. I ran upstairs and my husband is holding him horizontal and smacking his back. He said he slipped in his tub and went underwater. I know it was an accident, but I’m honestly furious. It was a no-soap night, so it was just water, but obvs dirty water. We clean him well during diaper changes, but this boy poops a LOT. And I know when my husband changes him he’s not as thorough as me.

I’m worried about a few things;

1. Water in his lungs (and secondary drowning due to aspiration)
2. Bacterial infection from ingesting dirty bath water
3. Ear infection

Should I take him to the emergency room?

If this has ever happened to you please comment with your experience and if your baby was ok.

Formula in Mallorca

Just booked the most last minute trip to Mallorca with our 4 month old. Feeling extremely overwhelmed on what I need to pack. It’s just 4 nights. What bottled water did you use to make up bottles and anything i really need to know, do or pack

Long road trip with baby and toddler.

Has anyone ever done a road trip with their partner and small kids? I’m stressing about everything. Like should I thaw out my breastmilk ahead of time and store it in my insulated water bottle I use just for bm? Should I use our car mini fridge? Just I just nurse her when we stop. I have to feed her only when we’re stopped anyway bc I’d never feed her in her car seat and risk her choking without being able to pat her back. But should I bother bringing the last bit of breastmilk my husband feeds her with? She’s EBF except during my husbands shift at night or if I’m sore from nursing all day I might give her a bottle. She rarely takes it from me anymore. Also how to keep my toddler entertained? I got him a busy board but I couldn’t find one without small pieces so I’d have to give it to him with all the pieces stored away. (It still has zippers and stuff. I know they’ll sleep long but it’s a 22-24 hour drive (We’re moving fromMD to Texas and basically taking 2-3 days instead of driving for a day straight )

When did you stop using your baby monitor?

Hiya ladies,

Am pregnant with baby number 2 who is due in August 2026. My toddler will be 2 years 2 months when they're born.

By the time baby will need their own room with a monitor my toddler will be near-ish 3 years old.

Wondering when you stopped using the baby monitor to check on your toddler/child?

At this point I've accepted I'll need to buy another one but I'm curious when it seemed unnecessary for others!

Thanks :)

Sleep troubles

Hello, my little girl is almost 19 months. For the past month we’ve really been struggling with her sleep and it’s just getting worse. She wakes up crying and no matter what we do the crying gets worse and worse. She won’t even be cuddled or rocked or patted back to sleep. She will struggle and scream. We’re up for hours at a time with her. I just don’t know what to do. Last night she was up from 11:30-1:30 then 3:30-5:30 then I’m up with our toddler at 6. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to help? Also she’s recently been weaned from breastfeeding in the past couple of weeks and she is getting her upper molars. I know these things will be part of it x
