I was doing this but she was being sick a lot! 🙈 I check for signs of wanting feeding (o shape mouth & tongue showing) and if they're not there ill check if she needs changing, if she's cold, if she wants to be sat up (helps with colic) or needs burping (clenched fists) before trying feeding. I'll also pass her to my partner to see if she calms down, if she goes for his nipple I know she's definitely hungry!

Definitely normal tho! They’ll use it as comfort too so if nothing else is working it will usually settle them

I just seem to get the feeding cue, rooting and hands in mouth 😬😬 clearly have a hungry boy 🤣
