Postpartum hair loss!

Has anyone found anything that actually helps with postpartum hair loss? 😩

I’m 4 months postpartum and the shedding has really kicked in. Every time I wash or brush my hair it feels like I’m losing handfuls, and my hairline is definitely looking thinner.

I’d love to hear what’s worked for others—vitamins, supplements, shampoos, oils, dietary changes, or whether it’s just a waiting game! Bonus points if you’re breastfeeding and found something safe and effective.

Thanks 💕

Mine came growing back at 7m all along the hairline but I take multis every day plus hair skin nails. It’s mainly hormones, but we can help it along e B vitamins and biotin and collagen. Coz I’ve heard some mums go to 2yrs+ Pp with still heaps of hair loss. She’s probably lacking the nutrients needed for healthy hair growth. So we can keep it topped up on our side with healthy diet and lots of collagen/biotin.

I had hair loss 4 months PP too. I went from having really healthy, long hair to it going so thin and scraggly I had it all cut off shoulder length, I was heartbroken😭
I took collagen, biotin and zinc vitamins everyday and hair oiled using a mix of batana oil and rosemary oil once a week, didn't use heat on my hair etc and within 6 weeks it was looking thicker and there was really clear hair growth around my hair line.
Plus doing the whole hair care routine once a week is a nice bit of you time🥰 I'm 8 months PP now and apart from my hairline still growing back, my hair is pretty much back to its normal state with the length nearly to the middle of my back again.
Hope this helps xx

Castor oil and with a couple drops of rosemary essential oil. And stop using chemicals on ya head. Bare minimum switch to a decent low chemical brand like faith in nature. (Still has a couple chemicals in there but not as bad as most)
Castor oil is really thick. Your not going out with that on ya head so pick a day or two a week to sleep in it when your not going out the day after. And wear a bonnet because it’ll stain sheets. Oh and as tempting and wonderful as it is to use on skin. It will make new hair grow so caution. 😂

10 week old sleeping through the night!

So my 10 week old baby girl has started sleeping through the night. Last week she was waking up any time between 2am and 4am when we put her to bed between 8pm and 10pm, but for the past 3 nights she’s been asleep by 9pm and not waking up until 5/6am!!
Everything I’ve looked at says it can be normal but doesn’t stop me worrying that it’s too early for her to be doing this!
Anyone else have something similar or know if this is 100% okay? Just need some reassurance!

Others mom passing comments

So I have two little ones that are two and three. Took them to a toddler class and my two year old decides to escape out the door with the other moms that were leaving. I see this as it's happening (I turned my back for a second to get my bag) and I shout for my two year to old to stop(obviously they don't listen) then I tell my three year old stay in here while I got get your sibling. The mom that my toddler walked out with makes some comment about "haha your kids trying to leave with another family" to which I replied yeah this one is a runner, my kid then decides to run away again so I run after my kid and as I'm walking away I hear this woman make a stupid, sly comment, "she doesn't need anymore kids." So unnecessary to make these comments- then as I walk back inside the teacher for the class says she normally stands by the door but was preoccupied (which is fine I get it) but the main point here is about the stupid comments of this lady. I wanted to tell her off about making unnecessary comments and keeping her high school bitchy behavior to herself or am I out of line here? I ultimately decided to just manage my kids and go home.

Does age matter?

I’m 33 and husband is 40. I’m 2 months post partum. Husband wants another baby. I do too. I’m not sure if age should be a factor when trying again soon or not… (I’ve had 3 consecutive m/c before this baby)

Marriage problems

My husband and I have been arguing a lot, our daughter in 13months old. He says the most horrible things to me when we have these arguments. Today he said he is disgusted in the person ive become. It cuts so deep as I have given everything to our daughter this last 1 + year, and to hear the person who you thought would understand the most say that he thinks that of you.

Stopping breastfeeding…

I’d like to slowly stop breastfeeding now… went through a stage where she was only having around 3 feeds in the daytime and 2 at night and was going to keep cutting them down but recently she’s been physically asking for more by pulling down my top and there is no real amount of feeds I’m doing a day, I am trying to distract when she asks for it. I also have a wedding I would like to attend in 4 weeks but she has never taken a bottle, wondering now how I get milk into her when she’s not with me? What’s the best cups/bottles? She’s very stubborn and pushes away from me when it’s not breast, any tips would be amazing!
