Has anyone found anything that actually helps with postpartum hair loss? 😩
I’m 4 months postpartum and the shedding has really kicked in. Every time I wash or brush my hair it feels like I’m losing handfuls, and my hairline is definitely looking thinner.
I’d love to hear what’s worked for others—vitamins, supplements, shampoos, oils, dietary changes, or whether it’s just a waiting game! Bonus points if you’re breastfeeding and found something safe and effective.
Thanks 💕

I’m 5 months postpartum and I haven’t found anything and my hair just falls out when I wash it and brush it x

It is so frustrating, isn’t it? My hair is just everywhere!! X

Mine came growing back at 7m all along the hairline but I take multis every day plus hair skin nails. It’s mainly hormones, but we can help it along e B vitamins and biotin and collagen. Coz I’ve heard some mums go to 2yrs+ Pp with still heaps of hair loss. She’s probably lacking the nutrients needed for healthy hair growth. So we can keep it topped up on our side with healthy diet and lots of collagen/biotin.

I had hair loss 4 months PP too. I went from having really healthy, long hair to it going so thin and scraggly I had it all cut off shoulder length, I was heartbrokenðŸ˜
I took collagen, biotin and zinc vitamins everyday and hair oiled using a mix of batana oil and rosemary oil once a week, didn't use heat on my hair etc and within 6 weeks it was looking thicker and there was really clear hair growth around my hair line.
Plus doing the whole hair care routine once a week is a nice bit of you time🥰 I'm 8 months PP now and apart from my hairline still growing back, my hair is pretty much back to its normal state with the length nearly to the middle of my back again.
Hope this helps xx

Mine left my head at 4m. 7m and I have so much baby hairs at the front I can never look put together anymore hahaha I dont take anything

Castor oil and with a couple drops of rosemary essential oil. And stop using chemicals on ya head. Bare minimum switch to a decent low chemical brand like faith in nature. (Still has a couple chemicals in there but not as bad as most)
Castor oil is really thick. Your not going out with that on ya head so pick a day or two a week to sleep in it when your not going out the day after. And wear a bonnet because it’ll stain sheets. Oh and as tempting and wonderful as it is to use on skin. It will make new hair grow so caution. 😂
