I don’t think he deserves a birthday gift ever again from me

I bought a bottle of Prada cologne for my husband for his birthday. It was about $150. He opens it up, looks at it, and says cool. The very next day while we’re in the car he tells me the cologne I got him was “mid grade” and he really wishes I got him the Gucci one instead. Then he proceeds to tell me about how his best friend’s wife always buys his best friend the super duper expensive ones (I’m talking $200-$300). Oh and it gets better. He also called me cheap because I bought my brand new Nike Dunks for 40 bucks instead of paying the regular $150 for them. So you’re criticizing me for saving money 🧐🧐🧐🧐

Am I being money shamed? 🤔

I’m pretty sure I need to throw the whole husband away at this point 😐

Questions

Hi so I’m a ftm and will be giving birth very soon. I just moved to New Orleans from Ohio so my family and my partners family does not live in Nola so they will be traveling. I’ve never experienced postpartum or even pushing a baby out so I don’t really know what to expect. I honestly don’t want have any visitors the first couple of weeks. But for the sake of not starting a fight I’m going to have them. When my baby gets here I feel like if you’re going to be here you should be helping with whatever I feel like I need and me and my partner shouldn’t have to pay for anyone’s expenses when they get here? My partners mom is the type to get here, says she’s going to help and then expects someone else to pay for it. She does things to the praise of things and not actually out of the kindness of her heart. I’m not trying to sound rude at all. Please help

Im 8+3, when did people tell work?

I feel so anxious about telling work. I didn't want to until further down the line, but due to my job I may have to, due to them doing certain risks assesments. I dont feel my Director will be understanding, as we are a new company and I am the service manager. We are just starting out and he is panicking about money. I have been in the role over a year.

Also ontop, I don't know how to tell him.

Good job

I am in search of a job that pays like 18-20+ preferably a work from home job I’m currently employed at a restaurant and it’s one of the highest paying jobs I’ve ever worked I just want to be able to work soon after birth and not have to rely on some kind of childcare my first day is soon I’m very new to the area I lived in Florence until I was 18 I don’t have a computer at the moment but I can fix that I have no experience in the WFH field but I am very smart and catch on fast if anyone has any suggestions I am completely open to them!
