Exactly like Monique! My daughter is almost 2 and my son is 5 months old
Let me tell you my son was definitely a surprise, I did NOT feel ready lol
BUT now we’re happy.
At first I felt guilty to have to share my attention with both because my daughter was used to have me to herself but then you realize that you literally gave them a best friend for life. They’ll be close in age which is great for so many reasons.
But take your time to make a decision :)

Any advice or reassurance/ personal stories?

Hi all i am 34 and currently TTC for 7 months. It hasnt happened yet and should i be worried? I have bad anxiety anyway. Last time i concieved in month 2 so i must admit i am disappointed, although i know this can happen. Like last time, we use the Lh sticks and just have sex around this time 2 or 3 times maybe more sometimes. Trying my best with things. Spiralling a bit sometimes and worrying like what if it takes ages will i end up too old. I had PND last time and desperate for a different experience too x

15DPO - Is this dark enough?

I’m 15DPO today, took this test with my FMU this morning and I’m worried the line isn’t dark enough.

I am so anxious about being pregnant again, falling in love with my child and thinking about a future with them in case something goes wrong.

We struggled for a couple of years to conceive before our miracle baby in 2024 and I was anxious throughout my pregnancy about losing him. Fell pregnant again in October 2025 and was WAY more relaxed about pregnancy having had a healthy pregnancy already, however, we had a MMC in December and so now I’m anxious something will go wrong again 😩

Help!

This is positive right? If so then why was a different test/brand afterwards negative?!?

Why do you think this is?

A while back, I did a couple polls and the conclusions were that we (broadly) can’t stand our MILs and (generally) struggle with our own mothers visiting as well.

These are the women that are supposed to be giving us the wisdom of the “village”. They’re supposed to be our intimate support system but most of us feel far from supported by them.

Why? 🤔

A) You think people in general are more prone to personality disorders which make mils and moms more narcissistic/toxic generally than maybe they were in the past. They’re less helpful and more stressful as a result.

B) People have less kids recently (historically speaking) so by the time they’re grandparents they’ve forgotten what it’s like, what moms need, etc. Their help is outdated/out of touch and lack perspective bc they have less experience. Even though they may be well-meaning, our villages have less kids so there’s less wealth of knowledge to learn from.

C) It may be a me problem. We as a society are more selfish/particular and feel more entitled to our “ideal” help. Or have more choices of who can be our “village”. So we’re less likely to tolerate unhelpful parents.
