Yes and yes! He still naps at nursery if need be x

Yes but Max 30-40 minutes then we wake him. He only attends nursery in the mornings 4 days a week

Depends on her mood, if she’s grumpy and quite clearly tired then she has an hours nap but if she seems okay we leave her and may put her to bed half an hour earlier in an evening x

Not normally. If he's very tired he might have a short car nap. Doesn't nap at nursery and hasn't done since before he dropped all naps around xmas

Mine sleep only in the car when no nursery days, in nursery he refuses

On and off! Around an hour at nursery, he hasn’t napped the past two weekends at home at all and he gets Real mad in the evenings because he’s over tired 🙈

We have a pretty strict wake up and bedtime routine (we both work full time and he has a little sister on one nap) so I can’t just ‘put him to bed a bit earlier’.

Hoping he adjusts soon

At Nursey we give him the choice but usually no, at weekends (inc Monday) we try to encourage nap as he’s shattered after 4 days at Nursey. Sometimes it’ll just be a car nap but usually an hour in bed xx

Baby only contact naps in a dark room. I'm so over it.

Why can't it be one or the other.
Nap in the dark OR contact nap.
Its not right, it's not healthy.

He's nearly 4 months and I've tried a few times to get him out if this habit but it never sticks!

I don't want this anymore. I dread EVERY nap. I love him and love being a mum during wake windows but when nap time rolls around I find myself regretting being a mum and I feel terrible for it, but I can't do this anymore hours on end in the dark every day for months on end. 😭😭😭

Second hand baby stuff

I am curious what everyone thinks on second hand baby stuff like, car seat, push chair, cot etc. babies grow very fast, they grow out many things in just few months and kinda feel like it is a waste of money and not good for the environment. And also think as first time mum he/she is going to be my only child so I should get whatever is the best. On a dilemma 🤷‍♀️

I think we might have hit it. How is everyone else surviving!? Is it too early to sleep train!?

How much do I actually need to buy?

First time mum, due in September and trying to not over spend. What is everyone’s opinions on how much you actually need to buy. I’m thinking along the lines of baby grows, how many will I actually need? And any other items which you’ve found you end up buying more of for no reason.

Nap times

Anyone mastered nap times for their baby?
Mine constantly fights sleep and I am trying to work out a schedule/routine to make it a bit easier on all of us. Please share yours.

Bruises on child at nursery

I don't know if I am being paranoid.

My son is 2, going through his terrible two phase, so can be a lil challenging at times.

The nursery failed it's offset recently in terms of managing behaviours.

I notice this week he came home with multiple bruises on each leg. Like 5 on one and 4 on the other.

While I know bruises are common and children can play rough with each other, it tends to only happen when he is at nursery.

My mind instantly went to is someone harming him at nursery. As they can't deal with his tantrums.

Am I being a paranoid mum?

What would you do?

Any tips or recommendations?
