I HATE my sister

Background, shes a cunt. Not sure if im allowed to say that, but I am. Shes almost a decade older than me and we used to get along fine. She even offered to get ordained when I was planning my wedding. She didn't, she wasnt even invited to the wedding but crashed anyway. She bullied my husband after we got married and told a bunch of people he was beating me(he's never). She threatened me while I was pregnant and made fun of me for having a miscarriage. I currently have a RO against her. Shes always drunk and aggressive. She makes up stories and legit only hangs out with people who have serious issues, so she can basically abuse them. Today my husband and I went on a date and left baby with my mom. My mom has babysat before it was fine. Today this sister shows up and just grabs my baby out the crib. Grandma handled it, but im LIVID.

Am I crazy?

We sent a list of boundaries & expectations (rules lmao) to my in-laws before the baby comes. The last one was if the baby is fussy or needs to be changed or fed, then hand them to me, De Mama. My MIL said it was “odd” that we would ask for the baby to come to me and not her son, and then she asked why me. My husband told her because I’ll be around the baby the most and it makes the most sense. I said because I’ve held that baby for 10 months and I want them. I know it’s none of her business WHY we implement rules for our home and I know I shouldn’t care because it’s MY home and MY baby but help an anxious, 32-days-left girly out. Am I nuts? Is this an unreasonable rule?

Sleeping with comforter

My baby girl is 6 months and likes to hold a muslin to sleep. If she’s got it she can resettle herself at night but can’t without it. I let her have it while I can watch her on the monitor until I go to bed but then take it. I know guidelines are clear cot until 1 year and I wouldn’t feel safe knowing she had it anyway. Any ideas or suggestions I can try so she doesn’t keep waking just for that comfort which she can’t have?

What is a “pop”? Is it people’s gentle way of saying a smack?

Seen this used on here a few times this week saying they “pop” their child if they’ve done something wrong. Are we just trying to sugarcoat hitting here? I don’t think calling it a pop makes it any better🥴

5am day starts

My 7 week old seems to wake for the day from 5am unless i put him in the sling he will then go sleep.

Will this eventually change and settle into a normal time if maybe 6/7am?

I have a 2yr old as well so praying this will change because my days are becoming sooo long. My toddler happily sleeps till 7/8am usually 😴

Sleeping/ Nighttime routine

What time is everyone putting baby down to sleep for the night? And what time is their first wake up? Trying to establish a routine for my baby who likes to do things her way 😅

How many syringes have people managed to get? I’m 38 weeks and I’ve been struggling so much to get any still. I’ve been trying since 36 weeks and a couple of times I’ve tried for over an hour with one or two drops each side and that’s it. This is my second baby and I was such a massive overproducer last time, so I feel a bit let down
