My baby girl is 6 months and likes to hold a muslin to sleep. If she’s got it she can resettle herself at night but can’t without it. I let her have it while I can watch her on the monitor until I go to bed but then take it. I know guidelines are clear cot until 1 year and I wouldn’t feel safe knowing she had it anyway. Any ideas or suggestions I can try so she doesn’t keep waking just for that comfort which she can’t have?

Could you try and swap her comforter for something else like a dummy (not to suck but just to have) or we sometimes have the Calpol syringe (obvs no Calpol in haha) but just sometimes they like to have something to hold but at least a dummy is safe for them to have in their cot with them x
