Overwhelmed and exhausted

I feel like crying. I just went back to work a few days ago. I was off today and my husband came hone from work and said he needed me to do laundry. I was hoping when he got home I could stretch while he looked after the baby. Instead,he took a shower, ran to the grocery store, Came back and stretched. I have been bf and pumping every few hours all day. I have a stock pile of milk in the freezer but I'm trying not to use it if I'm home. I have 2 bottles in the fridge but she seems to be eating more now so they aren't enough.i don't want to do formula but my boobs are killing me and I just want to take a shower. He brought home fruit earlier and he said he wants to take some to work tomorrow. So here I am trying to get her to sleep then I have to wash the dishes I need for the morning because I make him breakfast and I have to cut up the fruit for him. He went to bed. Ill be up at least twice to feed the baby. I'm exhausted and frustrated. 🄺

Theres nothing wrong with using formula mama, fed is best and a happy mom makes a happy baby, im a stronger believer in vibes and baby can feel your sadness and stress, and about your husband, you need to communicate more, let him know how hard is everything for you, and how much you need his support, if he doesn't seem to care, im so sorry, but you will know what's best for you and your baby

Honestly I can relate. 😭 Between feeding, pumping, work, and everything around the house, it’s SO much. What helped me was mixing whatever breast milk I had with a little formula so baby was still getting breast milk but it took some of the pressure off me when I couldn’t keep up. Don’t run yourself into the groundšŸ’•

Can he make his own breakfast and help pick up on dishes and stuff for a couple more weeks until you guys can get out of the whole ā€œevery two hoursā€ stage? Him picking up a little slack for the next 6 weeks could really be beneficial to all of you.

Another mum saying no to your child

I was at a small party and was standing next to another mum with her 3 year old. She told my child not to have a toy. I said it was fine and was annoyed with her. I was paying full attention to my child. Would you be annoyed? My toddler is 2.5 and they were in-between being shown something. To keep him contained then I let him have the toy.

I'm really struggling 🄹

I feel so ungrateful. I've wanted my baby for so long. He's my quadruple rainbow 🌈. I have an 11 year old but I don't remember things ever being like this with him.
My 7 month old has recently started crying and screaming over everything. Hungry Screams. Tired Screams. In the pram Screams. He used to sleep in good stretches and now he wakes up every few hours screaming. There's been days I've tried calpol when it's been really bad because I can only assume it's pain. But it doesn't make a difference. I'm really struggling with the lack of sleep and the constant headaches from his crying. My Husband is amazing but we're both struggling at this point. I'm just not enjoying being his Mum anymore 😭😭

HELP with boundaries from grandparents!!

Hey guys, I could really use some advice. My mum has done so much for me and my husband since our first baby was born. I’m an only child, and she’s been incredibly generous – she’s bought our little boy so many things, helped us financially, and during those first three months she was coming over almost every day or every other day. At the beginning, I genuinely needed and appreciated the help. She’d help with the housework or have my baby boy so I could catch up on some sleep.

Now that we’ve settled into more of a routine, I don’t need as much help as I did before. I’ve realised that I really enjoy the couple of hours I get to spend with just me and my baby boy while my husband is working from home and then out at his evening job. I want to enjoy that one-on-one time with him and build our own little routine as a family.

The difficult part is that my mum is also going through a lot at the moment. Her husband (not my dad) has an incurable brain tumour, so I know having us and her grandson around brings her comfort and happiness. Because of that, I feel even more guilty about wanting a bit more space and independence.

I don’t know how to tell her without upsetting her. I know everything she’s done has come from a place of love, and I’m so grateful for all of her support. But I can also see that my husband is starting to get a bit frustrated with how often she comes round. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you set boundaries kindly without hurting your mum’s feelings?

Staycation šŸš—šŸŒ¤ļø

Any advice on taking your little ones on caravan holidays! We booked a trip down to Dorset at the start of July. My little one will be around 2 and a half months!
Just wondered if there’s any handy items/essentials to take aswell as ideas for keeping little one entertained in the car?

We plan on taking her to the beach and on little days out so any ideas would be good for what to take! (Obvs the basic baby items) but more stuff I wouldn’t first think of! Also any advise on how many clothes to take and what type? 🄰

How are we disciplining out of control 3 almost 4 year olds?!

I am at my wits end. He doesn’t listen. He just made me look like a fool in the middle of the grocery store. Sometimes I literally have no idea what to do because NOTHING works. Help.
