Had the FH measurement taken at 28w and it was below 10 percentile. Midwife not worried as “I might just be carrying very small” and didn’t get a referral for a growth scan despite asking for it.
Baby was measuring well above average in his 20w scan, myself and the father were both quite big babies at birth, so wasn’t expecting that.
Trying not to worry, and I hear a lot about FH being a wildly inaccurate measure and not used in other countries. Why do we need to do this then?

I agree that the FH is wildly innacurate. We got told that the FH was showing over the 97th centile and therefore we were referred for a growth scan- the growth scan showed that she is in fact very small and was more in the 14th centile! Don’t take FH as gospel at all, scans are much more accurate

My Baby was ment to be *small* so was induced and she was born 8lb13oz
Honestly dont worry about these at all. They're never correct
