LMP vs Dating Scan

I know due dates are estimations, however I am in my third trimester and I have noticed conversation start to shift towards induction or c section purely based off my dating scan, no other indicated risk or concern.

With my first he arrived at 40+12 after multiple sweeps.

This is my second pregnancy, LMP estimated date: 16/08/2026. Dating scan placed me a week further and my revised due date is 08/08/2026.

I’m just wondering
1) second time mum’s did your baby come before, after or around the same time as your first

2) also how to frame conversations around due date estimations. I am going for a VBAC and despite being classed as low risk, I feel that my due date is already being used as a tactic! I want to give my body the opportunity to go into spontaneous labour without pressure especially if there is a weeks discrepancy.

So far they are suggesting not going over 41 weeks.

Thanks

Question for mums who had both vaginal and c-section birth

Hi all, I'm a FTM due in August. I am still undecided between trying to go through labour with an epidural, or elective C section. I'm really scared of the pain. For those of you who tried both, were the pain levels similar? Including for recovery, for example is natural birth labour more or less painful than a c section recovery? Thank you x

Guys.

My butt looks awful after having twos kids. 😭
I had my daughter back in 2022 and I got mom butt. After losing some weight it got a little better. Had little brother in November and here we are again and it looks worse this time. Flat and like I have dips on the sides; kinda like hip dips but a little lower. Any tips or literally any help with this?? 😅

How many weeks after a C section were you driving?

I have had my second C section 4 weeks and 1 day ago. I recovered very quickly after both sections but more so this time. I have been running for over a week with the pram and my husky dog. I have been able to do sit ups without any strain, pain or any signs of being uncomfortable.

I would like to drive even though I’m not at the 6 week clearance. My husband is being a stickler for rules and is worried about our insurance. During my last pregnancy/ section recovery, I asked the doctor to sign me off, but they said they were happy to have me self certify but wouldn’t personally sign anything, so that isn’t an option.

Anyone have any advise/ experience?

39 weeks, 0 dilated

I went to my appointment today. Doctor was no able to do a membrane sweep since I’m not dilated yet. FTM, a little bit anxious 🙃 Anyone on the same boat?

What could it be?!

I've already had a doctor's appointment and felt fobbed off.

I've convinced myself it could be celiac or liver related. If anyone is celiac or has similar symptoms can you comment please?

My symptoms are:
Unexplained weight gain
Bloated stomach
Tired more than I think I should be
Trapped wind
A rash /itchy areas
Easy bruised specifically on thighs
