So I'm not sure if anyone else's little one is doing this but our boy tends to hold his wee for 2hr + (This morning he hasn't done a wee in the whole time he was awake 3hrs). Is anyone else's little one like this and just wondering about potty training? We've had a potty since about 8 months old and been sitting him on it for most nappy changes and we had a phase where he was going for a wee on it each time, with the occasional poo, he's now stopped doing that and will only occasionally do a wee, but I'm thinking he clearly has control as when he does wee he always looks down in the potty when he's doing it and then looks yo at us and smiles as he knows he's done good. He also trys to pull his nappy off regularly when changing him 🫣
I've seen loads on EC potty training but not sure if anyone has done it or are going through it at the moment?
I'm just looking for opinions on people that have been or going through similar, I know advice is 2-3yrs old for potty training so please don't come at me with that information, I know potty training can conjure up some strong feelings but I feel like he's showing signs that are often associated with being ready for potty training 😊

Ive been sitting mine on the potty before bath time each evening. To begin with, he did a wee every day, now hes not done anything for a week 😂🙈

I think it’s normal at this age for them to pee less frequently vs the newborn stage where they pee little and often. They pee more like a child now, larger pees less often. Theres no harm in introducing a potty, my eldest we trained just before 3.
