Hey mamas, I need advice for test driving cars. We're getting a new family car/what I will be driving the kids around in, but with my 7 month old I'm trying to figure out the best way to do test drives. We haven't figured out what make or model yet so we'll probably have to do multiple test drives, but installing and removing my daughter's car seat seems like a hassle for every car. Is there a better way? I was thinking about having my husband drive a car first since he is pickier than I am, and if he likes it, then install the car seat for me to drive it? If anyone has found a better way, please let me know!

Is your baby still in an infant seat?
A lot of seats have the option to use with just the seatbelt, which is what we did when we test drove cars when our first was about 9 months, he wasn't an an infant seat by then, but his infant and convertible seat both have the seatbelt option, which made it faster.
An alternative would be yes to have each of you test drive it separately, it would just take longer, or having someone watch your baby for the day.
