I have a history of precipitous labour and I was wondering with early stages of labour I sadly can't recognise mild cramping as contractions as I have a high pain threshold according to my doctors when discussing about my previous birth experience at a birth reflection appointment today.
The only recommendation I got given was as the system has recognised I have quick births that if in doubt I start feeling regular light cramping cramping I should just ring up triage mention of wanting to go on and get checked would be the safest option before I would start to feel more cramping and it becoming extremely painful fast.
But honestly if anyone on here has any advice or suggestions please comment below

Following because me too! Mines a bit different though. I feel it, I feel it to my core. I get back to back contractions with no break and go from 0-10cm really fast. My last midwife refused to believe my baby was coming out.
This time I’m going for a home birth, I’ve let my midwife know that the labours are fast (historically- the 3rd is usually a curveball). They’ve put it in my notes and same as you you just let them know asap.
Good luck!
