Car advice

Hi everyone, expecting twins in November by which time my toddler will be 2 years and 3 months old.
Now all my research is telling me I need a 7 seater car. If that’s correct then fair enough. We need to fit 3 rear facing car seats and have space for all their paraphernalia and pram etc.
But can anyone recommend any large 5 seater cars that can fit 3 car seats across the back? The middle seat would need to be a proper seat I imagine.
And for those who have 3 children - what car did you opt for in the end and would you recommend?
Thank you in advance!

Im sure there’s a few cars that allow this configuration, the thing to be mindful of is if the middle seat has a raised platform as that may limit options. Most I know of from looking ourselves were actually 7 seaters but the smaller ones like ford S-max.
We have a 4 year old and due twins VERY soon. We went with a 7 seater in the end as for us, we’re not 100% sure this is us done expanding our family. Plus we have one car between us and wanted to buy outright as opposed to have monthly payments coming out with twins arriving and my wage dropping significantly (I earn more and get statutory maternity). Honestly, I’d say you probably need the boot size of a 7 seater. we’ve got a Peugeot 5008, I can’t say I love the car but even the boot on that gets filled very easily with the double pram and various bits and bobs. It has to be the slightly older model though to have 3 full seats, ours is a 20 plate. We’ve got an axkidd, a besafe stretch and a Britax all rear facing, my front seat is all the way back even with the besafe behind

So we haven’t bought it yet but we’re changing cars from a 5 seater to a 7 seater. I think we need bigger space overall and the option for myself or hubby to sit in the back with the kids. The two we are considering are Volvo xc90 and the Audi q7.

Side note, I’m 5 mins from Chislehurst! I’ve got a 2.5yr old and expecting twins sometime in September. I’m going to message you now x

Car seat help!! 🙏🙏

(Please ignore the messy car)
We had this car seat fitted yesterday by Halfords but the seat belt is in the way of putting my baby in. The guy who fitted it said it has to be like this so it’s diagonal in the back but I can’t put my baby in from the outside I have to go inside the car and buckle her in.
There must be another way 😩 or some trick to fix the seat belt down easily, put baby in, then put it back out? I need to sort this out asap because she already hates the car seat and she’s especially annoyed at it after daycare so I can’t make it worse 🥲

Breast Feeding

When I was younger, my mom used to explain to me that she didn’t breast-feed because her breasts were really big in this new generation. Is that a thing?
I currently wear a 36 triple D or 36E and I just wanna make sure when I do start breast-feeding that I won’t smother my baby with my breast

Velcro baby temperament

Baby is 2 months old tomorrow and I know she’s still so young and brand new to the world. She’s super sensitive due to her tummy issues so she’s always been a high needs, contact napping, constant holding/rocking/soothing, and co-sleeping baby. I’m a FTM and can’t handle letting her CIO. I love her so much but my back, shoulders, and neck are messed up from always holding her and having to rock her. Did anyone else w a baby w a temperament similar to my daughter’s grow out of it? Or did they grow up to be very sensitive toddlers as well?

Also, anyone have any experience w the Moonboon?

Insomnia in the First Trimester

Hey, I think I have just hit week 7 and I have been really struggling with insomnia over the past 2 weeks. I seem to struggle to go off to sleep and stay asleep for longer than 30 minutes - 1 hour. Some nights I literally get no sleep at all. I just feel so tired, but completely wired. How is everyone else faring?

Do your babies actually sleep in their bassinet??

FTM to a 3 week old girl and she does NOT sleep in her bassinet 😭as soon as I set her down in it she stays sleep for like 20 seconds and then starts crying to be held. Does anyone have any hacks or advice that I can use to get her to sleep in her bassinet?
