Working out

Heyyy
Just looking for tips lol
I’ve been working out for 3 weeks not consistently but about 3 times a week with 10-15 minutes of inclined walking on a treadmill. Today I hit legs and my ass was sore before dinner lol

Does anyone have any good tips on recovering after working out? Or any supplements I should be taking to increase weight loss and promote muscle?

Also if anyone has any diet recommendations that would be absolutely amazing and greatly appreciated 🫶🏽🫶🏽

It can take up to 6 weeks or so for the initial soreness to pass, then it shouldn’t be as bad. Prioritize protein, you can use this link to estimate how much you need per day. I personally don’t recommend strict calorie tracking for beginners, but protein is a great place to start without worrying about unnecessary obsession over calories. Also limit added sugars. Drink plenty of water! New programs take time to see visible results, stick with it, consistency & habit building will be the game changer!

-i am not a specialist-
For muscles=stretching at the end of the workout, ice baths.
B12 is supposed to help with metabolism but i have never taken it to see if it works.
More protein in your diet (make sure to eat fruits and veggies for fiber OR you could get fiber powder).
Usually its going to work better if its close to your lifestyle already so big changes normally wont stick. Protein makes you more full while eating less calories.

as someone who’s been going to the gym for years, consistency and routine is super important girl as it helps prevent your muscles being over/under worked, it will help you achieve better results much quicker too!

make sure when you hit legs/glutes you have a 2-3 day break in between as they need time to recover and grow and over time your muscles will get used to being worked hard so the pain will eventually stop happening aswell🫶

I also recommend upping the weight every week or so, or whenever you know your body is ready to go to the next level

for diet recommendations, make sure you’re eating lots of protein and as long as you work out consistently it should go straight to your muscles instead of your belly! defo search meal ideas that align with your goals and steal some recipes, i found one for overnight protein oats and protein cheescake which has honestly been a game changer cause i get to eat “junk” which is actually beneficial and still soooo yum😍

Not attending my friends divorce party, as a married woman.

I love my friend .. but I also love my marriage and don’t want to spend a night screaming how men are trash and how we don’t need them.

Also my friend is very fiery and problematic I believe was the cause of the break up.

I’m also Christian and don’t want any anti marriage energy around me.

Thoughts? Am I bad for not going. I’m always there as a shoulder to cry on but I do not wish to celebrate the divorce.

Friends?

Anyone actually want to be friends? Not like a quick hey hi and then ghost 😂 but actual conversation, advice, support or random crap… I struggle to make friends but I’m trying. Can message on here or on snap. Kelleysarah19

Do you care for your kids by yourself?

Do you have more then two kids you care for with no help other then your husband? I'm really feeling alone. It genuinely sucks seeing how many people have family support and all I have is my husband and he drives trucks so that means he's gone most the week and I'm by myself 😔

Another baby or wait for stability/help?

I am 33. Have a toddler.
Over the last couple of months I have had the desire for another baby.
However, the situation is not great as husband works abroad.
I am already having a hard time managing as it is (I work as well).

Please put some sense into me. I think part of the desire is the feeling of running out of time.

2 of my friends think I should go ahead anyway.
