Hi yall! I’m a busy stay at home mom, my son is autistic and we have a hard time trying to make friends, so River and I decided maybe we can try building friendships throughout the world.

No sex…

Me and my partner haven’t slept together for at least 2 months now. I am 5 month pp and since having the baby we’ve maybe only done it 2/3 times at a push. This is only because I’ve insisted it too. I feel like I’m the only one who ever wants it and then it makes me think is he getting it elsewhere like what man does not want sex?

I have opened up and spoken to him about this and he has reassured me there is no one else etc. We have bickered alot since little one arrive and I know that doesn’t help. It’s just hard because I feel like the no sex is contributing to the bickering. I feel selfish wanting it and I keep asking him about it and the topic just changes or he doesn’t respond. Maybe all the arguments have pushed him away but I always feel like once we have sex it makes us closer.

Idk it’s got me reminiscing about our life before baby and how our relationship has changed.

Other than stop arguing ( it’s not always that easy) what can I do to make him in the mood? Or just re-spark the love between us as I feel like it’s gone

Lonely since baby

Anyone else feel like they don’t exist around people anymore since giving birth? Everyone just wants to see the baby and you could honestly not even be in the room. Feeling lonely :( does this ever stop?

Depression

Is anybody feeling really disconnected lately.
I'm a single mum to twins, and I don't really have any free time to myself and when family does come round they just hold my babies so I can do washing up and house work and they call me selfish for wanting one of them back. So I'm just sitting there doing nothing.

Commenting incognito

Does anyone else feel like they’d want a “comment as incognito option” on here? There’s so often that I would love to reply to someone with something helpful, but also am not comfortable with airing out my dirty laundry for anyone to see.

I can see how it could potentially get abused too, so maybe even an option that limits how many times you get to leave an incognito comment per day or something like that would be great.

Will I be eligible for maternity pay?

I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant and joined a new job the 1st week I was pregnant I guess. Definitely could've planned better but super excited to see the little one!

Based on my calculations and the private scan, I'm 6 days short on being eligible for maternity pay at my current company. It's a 200 employee organisation and I've onboarded really well.

When do you think I should tell HR and what are the chances I'll still be eligible for maternity pay?

I'm yet to meet my midwife.
