Toys and games for 11 week old babies

My baby is 11 weeks old and I'm looking for ideas for age-appropriate toys and games. What have your little ones enjoyed at this stage? Any tips for engaging activities or favourite toys?

We have a mat they can let on for tummy time or to be able to lay down and look up and kick things that are hanging down. That’s about it for that age. Maybe some chew toys and some crinkle things but at that age they don’t do anything to need games and very very few toys

Oh yeah a bouncer or swing could be nice as well for some hands free time.

Foil blanket for lots of kicking, I also put different texture under his feet/ legs, mirrors, inflatable/water filled tummy time mat

Singing and using makaton signs x

Lovevery staged boxes are great + playmay/gym and tummy time triangle.

Daycare

First time mom of a baby boy ! I’m returning to work after 12 weeks soon and I am dreading having to put him in daycare . I have so many negative thoughts when it comes to having to leave him with strangers 😪 . The daycare seems very safe and the workers seem very kind but I’m still in my head. Any suggestions to ease my mind ?

Dinner

Bit random, but When do you eat your dinner?

My hubby cooks the dinners, we currently take it in turns to eat about 8:30/9pm as we can't eat together due to me breastfeeding, times never seem to work out as theres not schedule/routine its just easier to take it in turns.

Im just curious what others are doing?

We also have a 2yr old who is in bed by 7pm

In law problem

My sister in law didn’t call to congrats my baby , didn’t talk my husband a mother before we marry. But still my husband wants to take our baby to meet with her. I don’t want it . Is it normal that I don’t her to see my baby?

Phones for kids

So was reading comments on another post and it made me wonder. What kind of phones are we getting our kids? Saw a comment on the post saying a 9 year old watched porn on their friends phone. WHY THE F DOES THIS FRIEND HAVE A SMART PHONE? My husband and i have talked about when we decide to get our daughter a phone it will be a simple flip phone. Im not arguing about when to get a phone, but a 7 year old with a smart phone just seems crazy to me. What kind of phone are you getting your kid? If you choose smart phone please tell me why. Is there a reason? Or do you just not care what your child sees?
