Who’s actually pumping till empty?

I’m pumping the 30 minutes every 4 hours and I’m still full. :/

The 30 minutes might be too much. Remember the more you pump the more you make so you could be creating an oversupply if you’re pumping too much!

Your supply will eventually slow down if you pump less. But the more you pump, you’re telling your breasts to make more milk because in your biology’s understanding if your baby is trying to drink for 30 mins you’re not making enough and you need to make more. Pump less = make less milk. Pump more = more milk. It’s supply vs demand.

And often it takes about 6 weeks for your body to regulate the milk production to just make enough for your baby. This early making too much milk is common. Your breasts will eventually get the memo and understand how much the baby needs. The first 6 weeks all your hormones are very high as well. It can be super frustrating feeling so full all the time, you’re doing so well but 6 weeks is usually as long as it takes for your body to regulate. Some people are more, some are less but it’s common. You’re doing great!

Your body produces what it needs. So if your child wants more milk they will start feeding more frequently. So if you pump more frequently eventually your body will produce more milk.

Formula on holiday

Has anyone travelled to Majorca recently with a baby on Kendamil Ready-to-Feed?

We’re staying near Cala d’Or and I’m trying to work out the best option. My main worry is the night feeds as my baby still has at least two feeds overnight, so I don’t know what my best option is. We use a prep machine at home!

Any tips or experiences would be really appreciated!

Sleeping in cot

Struggling to get my 14 week baby to sleep in he’s bed, he will breastfeed and fall asleep and as soon as I try to transfer he will wake up both when he’s drowsy or fully asleep, he keeps ending up in my bed and I co sleep which isn’t a problem but I am wanting him to be in bed own bed, especially because next week he will have to sleep in a travel cot because we are away but I am really struggling to get him used to he’s own bed, he will cry once put down and when I pick him up to soothe he will fall asleep straight away in my arms, I feel like I have tried everything but just need advice on what else to potentially try🤷🏻‍♀️.

Co sleeping babies and nursery

Hi everyone. I’m worrying a little about my 9 month old who is due to start nursery in 2 months time. We have co slept since he was born and no matter how hard I have tried to transition him to his own room and crib over the last few months, he does not settle. We’ve tried everything other than the ferber method which I’m just not comfortable with if I’m completely honest.

I fear I have shot myself in the foot however as I’m worried how my LO will cope with sleep at nursery. Has anyone else been in this position before? And how did your babies cope with the transition?

Breastmilk

Can anyone help as to how I can get rid of my breast milk?
Baby still won't latch after a tongue tie release, I've pumped but I'm so engorged I can't take it anymore. Me and my partner are arguing all the time and I hate seeing my little boy frustrated.
I want to get rid of my milk so I've got my normal boobies back...
How can I? Do i just leave them alone?
