Beside myself

I had to rush my newborn to hospital for a stomach issue and my husband didnt leave work to meet me i had to call my in laws for help cause i dont have a car. But like he never leaves work for any emergencies and he could leave his boss is nice and stuff. Idk i just feel so alone.

Made redundant

So a month ago I received the news that only me will be made redundant and the process has been incredibly stressful but it is done, the company really rushed the whole thing before I was able to qualify for my statutory maternity pay, I’m now 26 weeks and concerned what I will be entitled to regarding maternity allowance, has anybody had a similar experience?

Any advice or help welcome, it’s a very sore subject for me still but want to know my options if there are any?

Would I be a bad mum?

So my partner wants to book a holiday for me and him no kids I’m all for it as it would be nice to have some us time. Our son is 18 months old. We never got the chance to go on a holiday just us because of how quick I fell pregnant after we made it official and the little money we had at the time. My step
Mum keeps telling me I’m being a bad other for wanting this. Our son will be left with either my mum or my partners mum so he’ll be looked after very well. But I just ding want to feel like a bad mum for leaving him for 4 nights in the uk while we are in Italy

I am done being friends with insecure people.

I’m serious. We are too old to be so insecure and not know ourselves!!!

I’m a very confident person and every single time I’ve befriended someone who isn’t it always go bad. They constantly are looking for validation and approval while repeatedly giving backhanded compliments trying to knock me down, I’m not with the shit.

I was recently friends with someone who took every little thing I did for myself as an attack against her so I stopped telling her what I had going on and she was upset with that too, I’m exhausted with the one sided competition. If you’re insecure about your looks, change them. If you’re insecure about your weight, go to the gym. If you’re insecure about your financial status, make some moves. Focus on you and stop worrying about what I do because I’ve busted my ass to be who I am.

I just want a normal friend, I’m seriously exhausted. I want to be able to get lunch and talk about movies or pop culture, go shopping and hang out without it being so dramatic every single time.

Loneliness

I am currently 3 weeks PP with my second baby boy and really struggling with feelings of loneliness
I don’t really have any friends and so only have family and my partner for company
