Let baby just slip into your current routine but allow extra time for feeds and stuff. Also get your first a doll if they dont have one and let them help care for their baby while you care for baby

FTM scared

Hey guys, I’m 27 a FTM and I’m sooo scared. I had to go to L&D today due to high blood pressure and my feet and hands have been swelling I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant and according to my dr baby is ready and in position I’m not sure if I’m dilating as of yet he didn’t check my cervix today. Also I’ve been gaining weight like crazy he said it could be fluid retention but my goodness I’m passed 40lb and I’m trying not to stress to not make it worst but idk what to do. Anyone ever experienced high blood pressure during their pregnancy.

Sharing the news with a new employer

I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I’ve just started a new role. I’m feeling nervous about sharing my news cause I’ve just started & it’s a contract role. Nothing in the world is more important to me than growing my baby but I also don’t want to disappoint anyone. I also don’t know exactly when I should share it - I was thinking maybe 16 or 20 weeks. Does anyone have experience with this now or in the past? How’d you frame the conversation?

Does anyone still grieve their pregnancy?

I have an 18 month old girl who I absolutely adore the bones of but I still get upset when I think about my pregnancy. I deeply miss that chapter of my life. The scans, the planning and just the magical feeling of carrying her and feeling her kicking. I waited so long to experience it and feel like it was all over in the blink of an eye. I find it very difficult to look at my pregnancy pictures and the newborn photos as it physically hurts my heart and I just sob 😞

I am on 20mg Citalopram have been for 8 months now but I’m starting to wonder if I need to speak to the doctor again or are these feelings normal? Also struggling to accept I won’t be having anymore because my partner isn’t on board. X
