4 month old only wants to sleep on belly?

Hi! My 4 1/2 month old only wants to sleep on his belly. (He can roll back to belly but not belly to back) for the last couple days every time I set him down to sleep he immediately rolls onto his belly with his face in the corner of his bassinet. The bassinet does have breathable mesh but it still makes me very nervous. I’ve tried repositioning him onto his back but no matter how many times I put him back on his back he immediately rolls back onto his stomach. Is this ok? Should I move him to his crib now?

I always heard if they can roll onto their bellies it's okay to let them sleep that way. But also that when they roll it's time for a crib.

Hi, if he can roll himself it’s ok. Eufy or owlet sock always helped my anxiety to make sure he’s breathing. But if you follow safe sleep rules (Empty bassinet) should be fine.

Leftover medication

When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes. I was only able to get a box of 5 insulin pens at a time on prescription and therefore have 3 full and completely unused pens (no needles) left with a date for use in 2028. They’ve all been properly stored in the fridge.

Seems a shame to bin them yet impossible to pass them on to anyone and pharmacies etc won’t take them. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do with them or do they just have to go in the bin?

Postpartum anger

Does this postpartum anger ever go away? Or am I stuck with it for the rest of my life? I really hate bing mad and I don’t know what to do. My husband notices and he gets mad at me being mad. “Just calm down. I know she’s a lot but you need to calm down.” Like I know I know I just get so irritated sometimes. She’s a lot sometimes. She’s overall pretty good. But lately she’s very colicky. Won’t let me put her down. So I have to carry her. My arms get sore. Then I put her down again and she cries so much. She’s 6 months old. Is this normal? Do they ever get independent or is that only some kids? Most times I put her down to play and she’ll play for maybe 15 minutes by herself and then she’ll look for me and try crawl over to me. She can’t yet but she’s getting it. Shes crawling backwards right now. Ugh idk. I just feel touched out and overwhelmed sometimes. I need to work on it I’m thinking of going to therapy. Thinking of fostering next year but idk. I would hate to traumatize an already traumatized kid. Anyone relate? Does it ever go away?

Leaking Nappy

My 6 week old is 4kg and moved into size 2 nappies this week. Every night this week her nappy has leaked regardless of size or brand (Aldi and Pampers sizes 1 and 2). We are lucky what she is a good sleeper so get the length of time between changes will be having an impact. But any suggestions on how to stop her waking up covered in her own mess? 😬
