Pregnancy symptom names

I’m 35 weeks and I feel like my water is boutta break when I pee from the weird pain in my pelvis when I pee. I look it up to make sure it’s normal and Google tells me I have lightening crotch… bitch… ik damn well yall didn’t name ts lightening crotch… I didn’t have this my last pregnancy as my daughter was smaller because I couldn’t keep food down for most of pregnancy. So I look it up and that’s what Google has to say? It couldn’t be something a lil more flattering?! Pelvic pressure pain (ppp)? Pelvic dysfunction? Anything. Like don’t do me like that. Now I’m tryna explain to my fiancé that it’s not my puss being on fire or dangerous it’s just the pressure difference from releasing pee…

I literally couldn't walk by week 35. I would sit down and feel like someone had stabbed me right up the vag. He was sitting stupidly low in my pelvis and actually ended up being stuck. I required an extra 7cm on the c section incision to get him out and 3x forceps 🤣

Bleeding

How long do we bleed for after a c section? This is my second elective one and I’m bleeding heavy, period pains etc, I’m only day 4 but I don’t remember bleeding this long with my first, only a day.

What kind of support would have helped you most during your postpartum period?

I would like to become a postpartum doula and i’m interested in finding out what support people would have wanted during postpartum or even what would have wanted from their village/support system. Every mums’ needs are different and I wonder what support would have made a difference in your postpartum journey . For example, I needed support housework and it can be as simple as help with changing bedsheets or watching my toddler whilst I focus on my baby or even be able to just have a nice hot tea with no interruption. Sometimes just having that extra pair of hands can make all the difference.

The polls are limited so if there are other ways your support system or even a doula could have helped please add it in the comment section.

Thank you. ☺️

36 weeks 3 days

Is it normal to feel less movements?? I feel them, but they aren’t as often & not as strong…I was just in the hospital for dehydration & heart rate & movement were great..I’m nervous to be “that” mom who keeps coming in
