Baby Blues

Hi everyone I wanted to just rant... I had my baby June 11th it's been a week and something days now. I am still trying to breastfeed but it's not going well for me and baby. I have been feeling the baby blues and my anxiety is acting up. I feel it effecting me so bad I'm feeling like I lost connection with my son lately. I have a 3 year old also and he has been acting up since his new baby brother has been born. I need help figuring things out I know counseling would help but I'm so financially stressed out as I wait till I get paid family leave. I just feel some days like crying and sitting around doing nothing.... Anyone else going through this or she's been there. Need friends.

Makayla I had my baby on the 9th and feeling similar. Also having breastfeeding issues and crying daily.

I wish I had a solution for you but just know you're not the only one and our bodies are going through a massive hormonal shift. This is just a hard period but it will get better, just got to push through this temporary time. šŸ¤

I am 6 days postpartum and going through the same. Financial stressors, partner stressors, lack of support, and breastfeeding issues have all been weighing down on me. I have a 1 and a half year old and it has been a challenge, but he has been warming up. Then it’s like we are expected to go back to normal. We’re supposed to cook, clean, take care of the kids, etc. like we didn’t just have a baby. Try to take some time for you. I’m being selfish in this period. We have to focus on ourselves. It will get better.

Anyone else’s baby violently fight naps? Help!

FTM here of a 4 month. Looking for some mom advice. No matter what I do, my baby fights his daytime naps so hard. I am closely tracking his wake windows and watching his sleep cues like a hawk, but the second it’s time for a nap, he starts arching his back and cries at times. I feed him well burp. Change his nappy. Play with him, non stimulating. It feels like a physical battle every single day these days especially. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to get him to settle down without the fight? Can 4 month sleep regression affect nap?

Is breastfeeding supposed to hurt this bad 😭?

I’m 4 weeks postpartum and I just got my baby to latch earlier this week (she has a lip tie that made latching hard the first few weeks). But everytime she latches it hurts my nipples so bad whenever I breastfeed, is this normal?? Is this something that will pass as I do it more? If so how long will it take until it doesn’t hurt anymore? The pain is lowkey unbearable 😭

Crying in sleep

Hey! just wondering if anyone else’s baby has done this before. My 3 month old has just started crying in her sleep randomly. It sometimes wakes her up and it’s really loud. I don’t know whether she’s in pain or if it’s a new development that she’s made x
