Sleeping with baby on chest

Have any of you tried sleeping at night with baby on chest? My 6 week old baby has been a really good cot sleeper but tonight she just seems frightened after a few mins of being in the cot (I have no idea why!). She sleeps for ages on the chest in the day but I've been reluctant to do it at night as guidance advises otherwise...

I was at the start, my baby also 6 weeks now and broke the habit about 2 weeks ago after chat gpt scared me😂 but she was absolutely fine. It was the only way we could get through the night for weeks and she was fine. The guidence is there to protect us but as long as you’re precautious about it personally you’re probably okay. But if you are really worried don’t do it. We got a love to dream swaddle in the end and that’s what she’s in now and it saved us! She loves it and goes back down SO well x

Anyone else’s baby violently fight naps? Help!

FTM here of a 4 month. Looking for some mom advice. No matter what I do, my baby fights his daytime naps so hard. I am closely tracking his wake windows and watching his sleep cues like a hawk, but the second it’s time for a nap, he starts arching his back and cries at times. I feed him well burp. Change his nappy. Play with him, non stimulating. It feels like a physical battle every single day these days especially. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to get him to settle down without the fight? Can 4 month sleep regression affect nap?

Is breastfeeding supposed to hurt this bad 😭?

I’m 4 weeks postpartum and I just got my baby to latch earlier this week (she has a lip tie that made latching hard the first few weeks). But everytime she latches it hurts my nipples so bad whenever I breastfeed, is this normal?? Is this something that will pass as I do it more? If so how long will it take until it doesn’t hurt anymore? The pain is lowkey unbearable 😭

Crying in sleep

Hey! just wondering if anyone else’s baby has done this before. My 3 month old has just started crying in her sleep randomly. It sometimes wakes her up and it’s really loud. I don’t know whether she’s in pain or if it’s a new development that she’s made x
