I had a growth scan 2 weeks ago (28+6) which showed normal velocity but baby girl was 13%. This scan was triggered by a low fundal height measurement.
I went back in today with RFM (ctg and checks were all normal), and I’d had some spotting on Saturday (post sex). My fundal height was 30cm and I’m 32 weeks tomorrow.
Consultant saw me and referred me for a scan which the ultrasound department have rejected. Should I push for a scan or is this enough reassurance?

My consultant wanted me to have a scan at 17 weeks. I went to the appointment but the ultrasound department had cancelled that and I was absolutely gutted. There's a reason the consultant wants you to have a scan so I would push them.

I would push for a scan. I know it's the opposite, but with my first pregnancy I was measuring big so the midwife put in for a growth scan. Pretty sure if I remember, they rejected it but the midwife pushed for it and I got it

If the consultant asked for it, I’d push for it! For your peace of mind as well, FH can be very inaccurate

Push for a scan! Just my personal experience - at my 32 week scan baby was in 16th percentile. The request for a 36 week growth scan was rejected, then was carried out at 37 weeks and baby was growth restricted, had dropped to 7th percentile and I was induced. Wouldn’t have known if the scan wasn’t chased up
