Contraception

Hi all I'm currently 19+5 weeks pregnant i know I'm thinking way ahead but what is the best contraception that also won't make me put on weight? This pregnancy hasn't been too great I don't want another one for at least 3 years

Flexi working denied

For context me and my partner both work on the same department in the same company but on different teams with different functions.

Around 3 months ago my partner put in a request to condense his hours in to a 4 day week with one day off to look after our baby. I was also looking to do the same so our baby would only need to go to nursery 3 days and family members are helping with pick up/after nursery.

My partner's hours for some reason only got agreed yesterday and he has been given Wednesday off. Because it took so long to agree we lost one of the days we had reserved (we were able to reserve 4/5 before for some wiggle room).

We're now stuck with needing Monday covered and I've just been told I can't get it off.

I just don't really know what to do now, the only reason we don't have Monday is because they took so long!

I've emailed the nursery to see if we can get back on the waitlist for Monday. If I don't go back at all I will have to pay back some of my enhanced pay.
Just stuck really!

JUDGE FREE PLEASE - Becoming a SAHM

My husband is looking to switch careers and has been talking about me being a stay at home mom.

I have a very good career that I have worked hard to get, I also have my own bills and such. I would love to do it but also it’s my way of being “myself”. I mentioned a part time job and he said it’s all or nothing.

Thoughts from anyone who is a SAHM would be awesome.
