Booking appointment

Midwife has left me a voicemail which I can’t make out what she is saying. They updated my Badger App but the appointment doesn’t show where the appointment is or anything. She said she would ring back later ( this was 2 days ago)

Call them

Where are you in the UK? You might be able to ring the hospital or your local midwife/family center. Unusually then they can give you your appointment time xx

In Badger app if you click 3 lines at top left there is a section for hositpal contacts and my team. Gives you the phone numbers for midwife team / name of your midwife

The appointment should also show in your NHS app under Hospital and specialist appointments
Think you should also get a more detailed text message.

I need some advice on recovery post c-section and she will only sleep if placed on me or sometimes rarely my partner. I got no sleep last night and we tried everything so please send over some advice!!

I’m finally 6 weeks postpartum today!

Today I am officially 6 weeks postpartum. I had a c section so it’s definitely been a long road. Anyone who’s had c sections before how do I go about having my first bath? My gp checkup isn’t for another 2 weeks but I’m desperate to have a bath and don’t want to wait if I don’t have to. Any advice?

Tampons after birth

I’m 5w5d postpartum, it’s hot ridiculously hot and these nappy pads ain’t the one. I want to wear underwear and a tampon like a human adult, but I’m still bleeding kinda like snot stringy blood… has anyone else experienced this and been okay?

Newborn baby grows

How many newborn baby grows does everyone have? I only have 7 🫣 I’ve just realised while packing my hospital bag 🙈

Diarrhoea & vomiting

I’m 36w + 1d and I’ve just had vomiting and a bout of diarrhoea. This is my third pregnancy and I never had any vomiting with the other two just diarrhoea a couple of weeks before delivery. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if I’m coming down with gastro?
