Trying not to compare

Went out today to take advantage of air con, with a new friend and her baby. Can’t help but feel that my LO is so difficult and fussy in comparison to hers and that I felt on edge trying to keep my baby quiet and settled whilst we were out. My two month old baby is a few weeks younger so maybe that makes a difference. Trying my best not to compare but can’t help but feel I’m doing something wrong…

You’re not doing anything wrong. Some babies are just naturally fussier/harder to settle. It’s hard trying not to compare to other mums and babies but I can assure you your baby wasn’t fussing because you weren’t doing it right. They were fussing because they were fussy!
One of the mums I met through antenatal classes had a unicorn baby. Slept through from 6 weeks, would happily doze in her pram/cot with a dummy. The dream. My son was the absolute opposite. Always a terrible sleeper, would only sleep attached to me/the boob, hated the pram/cot/car seat. I convinced myself for a while that I was doing it wrong. I wasn’t, I just had a different baby. That mums second baby was also completely different and was a lot trickier to settle. It just depends on the baby.
Give yourself some grace! You’ve got this!

Pls Help

The thought of leaving my baby for 1–2 hours to get my hair done is honestly killing me. 😭 She's exclusively breastfed, so I'll make sure to pump and leave enough milk for her, and she'll be staying at my parent’s house.

It's nothing against my parents at all, I trust them. It's just the thought of leaving my baby that's making me feel so anxious. I'm worried she'll want me and I won't be there for her🥺

She's only 3 months old, and we've been together every single day since she was born. Mamas, how did you manage the first time you left your baby? Does it get easier? Is this separation anxiety, or is it just normal for a first time mum?

I'd really appreciate any advice or reassurance. 🤍

2nd/3rd pregnancy moms

Did your belly dropped yet? I’m utterly terrified for how fast I dropped for my 3rd.

Confused and sad

I’m 37 + 5 today and just came back from an ultrasound appointment at a different location for my obgyn and was told that my baby is only 5 pounds and 8 ounces and if they have talked to me at all about my babies weight and they have not. I’ve always asked every ultrasound appointment if everything looks good and if he looks healthy and on track and have always been told everything looks great and now I’m being told his weight is very low. I’m just so confused and sad and don’t know what’s going on anymore at this point. I’m never told anything every appointment and when I ask I’m always told everything is perfectly fine. This is my first pregnancy and I’ve been active and drink lots of water and i don’t smoke or drink or have before I got pregnant and take my vitamins but I will admit I’ve eaten a lot of fast food. Has anyone experienced the same?

Glucose Test

Glucose test was not my friend.. failed the one hour and projectile vomited all over myself an hour into the three hour test while getting my blood drawn.. 🥲 pretty sure some got on the nurse. So embarrassing. On the bright side, they have me checking my glucose 4 times a day for two weeks with a finger prick test. It’s honestly not bad at all. How was everyone else’s experience?
