Post partum bleeding

I am almost 4 weeks post partum and I still need to change my period pad (regular one not a pregnancy one) every 2-3h. I understand it is normal to bleed until 6 weeks (especially if breastfeeding) but I thought the bleeding would be minimal. When did you stop bleeding? I’d love to hear from others

I’m 4w pp and still bleeding a similar amount to you! Also breastfeeding, does seem to wax and wane and go between fresh/old blood.

I am a breastfeeding mom as well and mine took about 8 weeks to fully stop. I was induced early so my milk hadn’t come in and took a while to become consistent. It would go back and forth from minimal to almost period like as milk supply continued to mature.

Trying not to compare

Went out today to take advantage of air con, with a new friend and her baby. Can’t help but feel that my LO is so difficult and fussy in comparison to hers and that I felt on edge trying to keep my baby quiet and settled whilst we were out. My two month old baby is a few weeks younger so maybe that makes a difference. Trying my best not to compare but can’t help but feel I’m doing something wrong…

Glucose Test

Glucose test was not my friend.. failed the one hour and projectile vomited all over myself an hour into the three hour test while getting my blood drawn.. 🥲 pretty sure some got on the nurse. So embarrassing. On the bright side, they have me checking my glucose 4 times a day for two weeks with a finger prick test. It’s honestly not bad at all. How was everyone else’s experience?

Weight gain during first trimester

Iam 18weeks pregnant and gained like around 15 pounds so far . Is it very uncommon? Because my OB told me to watch my weight to avoid complications. How much weight have you gained since your pregnancy

Confused and sad

I’m 37 + 5 today and just came back from an ultrasound appointment at a different location for my obgyn and was told that my baby is only 5 pounds and 8 ounces and if they have talked to me at all about my babies weight and they have not. I’ve always asked every ultrasound appointment if everything looks good and if he looks healthy and on track and have always been told everything looks great and now I’m being told his weight is very low. I’m just so confused and sad and don’t know what’s going on anymore at this point. I’m never told anything every appointment and when I ask I’m always told everything is perfectly fine. This is my first pregnancy and I’ve been active and drink lots of water and i don’t smoke or drink or have before I got pregnant and take my vitamins but I will admit I’ve eaten a lot of fast food. Has anyone experienced the same?
