Postpartum hair loss

Hello mamas! I have type 3C curly hair and I’m 4 months postpartum with my second child.

I lost a lot of hair with my first child so was expecting it this time round, but I’ve found that I’m losing a lot more this time. Or perhaps, last time I had my hair in 2 canerows for around 3 weeks or so, so didn’t notice it as much, but this time I have it out and I’m washing it more frequently given the heat and to avoid it getting matted as it makes the fallout so much worse.

Does anybody have any tips for how to care for Afro / curly hair postpartum and to minimise the hair loss? I’m not trying to prevent it as such as I know it’s due to hormones but it’s feeling very scarce and wondering if I’m making it worse!

Thanks in advance

Baby moisturisers

Are you putting moisturiser on your babies/ toddlers? I never did as neither my oldest or youngest has particularly dry skin. If so do you have any recommendations?

Need advice

My daughter is 4. I’m a SAHM. My daughter has been saying hurtful things when she is mad and it’s only directed towards me. She never says mean things to her dad or to her little brother. She will say things like “daddy is my favorite he always plays with me”. “Daddy is the boss you are an old lady”. “Daddy is the best you are not”. Like where is she getting this from? Is this normal? I try to tell her not to say mean things but she will just continue to repeat whatever hurtful thing she said before. It’s been like this for a month now and I need some help here any advice?

1year health visitor

Had our health visiting 9m-1y, and was quite surprised with some things that I got told to change, but mainly was surprised at the fact that my health visitor told us that we had to feed her bedtime bottle 30mins before brushing her teeth as the milk softens the enamel, did anyone know this? Because of that she suggested that I change her bedtime routine so that my daughter doesn’t associate the milk with sleep and makes it easier for us to give her the milk earlier. What do you guys think? If you want I can add in the comments other things that surprised me.
