Days out in London?

Planning ahead of the summer holidays what are the best days out in London? Preferably for a 6 and nearly 4 year old?

Do you receive UC?? If so London zoo do UC tickets. Did it for my twins birthday and instead of costing me £100, it cost me £20. Took our own food and little spending money to get a teddy from the gift shop. All you need to do is take proof you receive UC

We’ve done Tower of London, transport museum, natural history, science museum and Battersea park and zoo.

I brought my nieces of slightly older ages on open top bus, science museum, west end show (Wicked), rooftop viewing at the Walker talkie (free - book in advance!), Children’s museum in Bethnal Green (lived east at the time), and cut costs by prepping a fun picnic for a park - suss out any with a decent playground. Some Harry Potter stuff if on your route. This was over a few days.

Do not make the mistake I did and take them to Hamleys Toys first thing as it was by far their favourite 🤣

Do you leave your kids on the floor

This issue keeps coming up with my partner
I hoover my carpets 2-4 times a day i have 2 kids (9 month old is my partners) and the 4 year old loves abit of messy play, i clean up multiple tines a day too so its safe for my baby to crawl around, i put cushions over any hard edges so its pretty safe.
I have my baby alone for 10 hrs a day mon-thur hes so clingy even our families have said how its hard holding him because he is so fat and wiggly😂
Obviously i hold him during the day but when im cleaning i put him in his walker and when im doing other bits i put him on the floor, i dont leave him unattended for more then 2 mins (i live in a bungalow)
My partner has an issue with this, he moans if i use the walker too much (20 mins a few times a day) moans that i leave him on the floor but needed my help touching the car seat ( too see if it was hot) yesterday because he was holding the baby n couldn't but im supposed to do school runs, meals, cleaning and whatever else happens in a day all while holding the baby, its making me abit resentful as im trying my hardest in a situation i didnt want to be in (staying home) and instead of even offering alternatives like ive asked ged rather bitch at what im doing 'wrong'
So do you put your kids on the floor?
Obviously im inexperienced having 2 kids but i thought that was what helped them learn to roll, crawl, sit up etc

Gifts age guide

Would you be offended if your 5 year old received a birthday present marked 3+. I have all these unopened games at home from presents we have received. Husband says absolutely not, he is buying new ones.

They seem more at the right level developmentally. A 3 year old would require quite a bit of support.

In-law Drama…

I’m only 5+6 but my husband and I were discussing my birth and he wants his mom there. I don’t want her there because she had said to me before that she never screamed while giving birth and his sister added that ladies who scream in birth are just wanting attention and copying movie scenes. Now he said he doesn’t want my mom there if I don’t want his there…

Am I in the wrong?

Finding interests/hobbies

Ok, I've realised I'm boring AF. I have no hobbies or interests, what are we all doing to find a spark in life? My kids are beautiful but they can't be my only passion???

Not enjoying it....

Is anyone else still not enjoying this?

Our baby is 9weeks and its nit getting easier.... ive had the worse night.

Just so fed up now, all he does is moan and cry majority of the day. I only have my parents for help, which they do help alot.

But I am really angry all the time arguing with my husband or moaning at him every day, multiple times a day

Im just so unhappy. Everyone keeps saying its gonna get better, when?!

I already have a 2yr old and when hes not at nursery and I have them both it is absolute chaos. Between the pair of them they set each other off with screaming.

I just want it to get better

Is a wife responsible for her husband's weight gain?

If your husband is eating a bunch of unhealthy food late night then complains about his weight gain and you try having a conversation about his late night eating letting him know he should stop eating at least at 10pm (he has a late shift) but he keeps doing it are you still responsible because he's your husband? I'm currently losing weight I stopped eating after 7pm and i stay in a calorie deficit and I drink 1 gallon of water per day and it made a big difference. We also work out together but he doesn't show up to all the workouts but I still stick to it. I feel bad for him 🫤 idk what to do
