My baby is 5 weeks old and I’m noticing some pretty bad cradle cap. Any suggestions on how to help it go away, I’ve tried breast milk on the scalp but not seeing much help so far. Also, anyone know if certain things would hurt the scalp? Wanting to make sure I avoid anything that would!

Im not sure if its because everybody is different but my girl started to get cradle cap and really dry flakes skin. I put breast milk in her bath and it cleared up. No more dry skin and cradle cap improved greatly. If you happen to breast feeding i definitely recommend this

During bath time you can take a baby comb and just gently try to scrape it off. If that doesn't work then you could try rubbing mineral oil on it before bath time then try the comb again

I wiped his head with mustela micellar water on a burp cloth and it cleared overnight. Works on baby acne too.

With my kids, I just put baby oil on the scalp and used a fine tooth comb and combed their heads. The dried patches came out all at one time.
