My five year old daughter today at the ford was catching little fish and crayfish and oozing confidence teaching all the other kids there about the wildlife. She noticed a little boy who was about 3 trying to copy her and out of no where she walks over and GIVES him her net and bucket and when I asked her why she said “I think it would be really special to him if he could catch one himself”. He tried to give it back to her after a little while and he wasn’t successful getting a fish and she told him to keep it and asked if she could help him find the best place to find one.
Felt like a big moment for my little only child who use to be the quietest, shyest girl around to now actively teaching others about her passion for wildlife and creating joy for others. What a girl 🥹

That's an amazing moment!! And I defo would be proud. Such a caring child you have 💙
My proudest parent moment was when my son walked for the first time on holiday. We was told that he has severe hypermobility in his joints and he was about 18 months old at this point. We were in the children's pool and he decided he wanted me instead of daddy so off he toddled on his own. We'd been trying for an age to build up his walking confidence. He would hold onto my little finger.
Then he did this and I cried tears of joy because I wasn't expecting it. We came home and he didn't walk independently for another three months where he literally did the scene from bluey and walked to me in the kitchen. Little cheek ran away and opened the kitchen door, then closed it behind himself. So all this time he was waiting until he could run and escape 😂 still my best and proudest memory of him.
